Since many of us met on the glorious LF, we should have a thread about it... to discuss problems, warn each other against possible hack attacks or silly pranks (ok, I *had* to say it...).

Peekabo! I feel special for being the first to reply... So here goes.
I started a fan-fic on Lost Forum called 'Moving On.' Due to being increasingly annoyed about being banned repeatedly, for around an hour for no apparent reason, when Jen (my beta,) PMed me with this forum, I quickly accepted the idea. But I haven't had a chance to come to this forum until now, and, so, here I am. If any of you remember Moving On, enjoy reading it when I begin posting it in fan-fic.

XD. Do you really want me to explain it all? Long story short, Theatre Camp, The Sound of Music, and getting a new computer have caused a long delay, but ta-da, I'm here now. With absolutely zero work done... But I'll get on it!
I'm gonna send you the first chapter for you to edit (hahahah) because it never did, the first chapter is B.J (before Jen.) Then, once you send it back (hahahaha) I'll make a thread.

anyone know why kateandsawyer.co.uk wasn't working for a few days? i was freaking out. stop closing my lost sites! but it's back so all is well. i depend on that for my skate fanfiction. i wasn't done on LF either. I'm separated from some of my fanfictions.

I lost the information for my 4259 account for Lost-Forum, and, finding I wasn't eternally IP banned, I went and made a new account last night with the same SN as I use here - Fridaythe13th. I posted a short post about how I was sorry I was gone for so long, and now I'm back and Chapter 11 will be up shortly. That's all I did. Next thing I now, I come online this morning and I'm IP banned! What's going on, why do I keep getting banned?

ETA: ok, got an answer from Liz:

liz: Okay. She shared a rolling IP, and it won't show that you're banned, because she herself isn't banned, but he IP is. Therefor, they can't help it, but I don't think she will be able to post because of that IP.

I actually have no idea, but it seems logical to me that if you use another computer, or cybercafe or something, you'll probably be able to acess and post on LF. Liz said that you're not banned yourself, it's just your IP, so if you try a different one, it might work.

just what I think, though.

Crap. That isn't gonna happen, because I'm eleven and my parents have a parental block on my computer (which is what I use all the time) and they won't let me get on any other computers. Oh well, I'll just use LOST forum sparingly, like I have been.
