So...this is the place to discuss Dr. Who. Which I love. But I must confess, I still have not see the season finale and have no idea what happened to Rose. :(

All I know is, Billie Piper may have made the worst move of her career (and that's saying something). But I guess we shall see.

Someone explain the season finale to me, and tell me what you think of the new asisstant.

Right, season finale. In the last episode, millions of Daleks were released from a prison ship and began to fight the Cybermen and kill humans. The Doctor decided the only way to get rid of them was to open up the void and have them all sucked in. Pete took Jackie and Rose back to the parallel universe, but Rose came straight back because she refused to leave the Doctor. The two of them opened the breach and tried to avoid getting sucked in by holding on to handles clamped to the wall. Some invisible force tried to close the breach, but Rose risked herself to push the lever back open. However, she slipped and was getting sucked in, but Pete appeared and took her back to the parallel universe. The breach closed and she was trapped there.

The Doctor led her in a dream to Bad Wolf Bay in Norway, where there was one last hole. He talked to her by making a hologram of himself appear on the beach, and she told him she loved him. His hologram disintegrated before he had the chance to say it back, leaving him crying in the Tardis. Then Catherine Tate showed up dressed as a bride, just before the credits ran.............

It really only makes sense if you watch it!

And as for the new assistant, I'll wait until I see her in the show, but I don't think anyone's going to be able to live up to Rose. Maybe some day they'll be able to work Billie Piper into the show again.
