Redemption is a prominent motif in Lost. I wanted to post this topic in both Kate and Sawyer's sections as I'm interested in the following in relation to each of their characters, both seperately and together.

How do you think Sawyer will achieve redemption for his past mistakes whilst on the island?

Do you think that he recognises this is the best path to his redemption? If yes, is there a specific point when he realised this? If no, how do you think he will discover it?

And, on top of all of this, do you think Sawyer really wants to be redeemed?
