Title: Warhammer 30,000 Campaign
Description: Good idea or bad?

Hi guys!

As you may have seen I've been posting some previews in the news forum for a campaign that I'll be running here on the Wh30k site.
The campaign itself will be set twenty years after the death of Horus in the Cerberus system.
Using the High Ground campaign system, I'm currrently putting the finishing touchs to, players will be able to fight their own mini map based campaigns that will form a small part of the larger war.

I've chosen this time frame purely because it's an era that very few have tackled and as it's Second Founding it'll give players more opportunities to take part.

I'll provide the general details for the campaign and each player will be designated a specific territory to fight a campaign with their friends.
Once everyone has sent me their results I'll post an overview of the campaign.

The details of each mini-campaign are down to the individual players, I'll provide a name and location and the rest is up to you. You can post as much or little detail about your territory as you want here on the Wh30k forums.
Ultimately each camapign will go to deciding the outcome of the war itself.

If it is succesful it'll be fought in three stages; the begining of the conflict; the main war and then the end game to decide the fate of the system.

Let me know what you think.

Cheers

That's not a problem mate, just be a little creative. You can fight against Orks, Eldar, Imperial Guard without any problems.
Other races can represent Xenos, so for example dsay your opponent uses Tau then you just write up the report as fighting an unknown alien race, you can even create a name for them. :)

If we did this campaign, do you think that Death Guard will be as Nurgley as there are in 40k, or breaking it down, can I use a Death Guard Army built for 40k? If I can then count me in.
