Colour changed from Black to Dark Green post heresy, they were still black pre and up to the fall of Caliban.

Nice idea though.

But why did they changed their color? I know chaplains changed their color to black because of the near death of the emperor, i know why the sons of horus changed to the black legion and went black because of the death of horus, but i dont know why the dark angles went to green! :wacko:

Im asuming because of the destruction of caliban and stuff...

Finished the plasma cannon arm and im working on the body of the model now

thats a good attempt at the lighting effect (ive never tried it) ide like to see that on a marine though :P

heh no way im trying it on my plasmagunner but i might do it on an old marine :)

a few spots of bolt gun metal have got on the elbow and shoulder pad of your plasma gunarm, also, try ink washing your metals with a black or dark brown to give some sahding to the crevis's, i think doing your next da in black would be cool, try the box cover of the heresy game for art work, i believe they were black on that. :lol:
