I was wondering, feel free to flame me, if DE were around at the fall, and how near to the heresy was the fall?

Thanks,
MM

good question i think since they were so old that the dark eldar were around before the hersey. What intrigued me was on isstvan they had warsingers which are of eldar spect. like the bonesinger of eldar. I thought that it was something worth bring up.

Perhaps they were chaotic versions of bonesingers created by Slaanesh? They certainly sound ... Slaaneshi ...

the warsingers were on isstvan they were one of two talked about one bulit and the other would whip the men into a frenzy, thats why i bring it up. The eldar influnce was strong, i just found it weird.

Dark Eldar should have been around as the Fall created the birth of Slannesh which in turn cleared the warp storms surrounding earth and allowed the Emperor to start the Great Crusade.
So at the time of the Heresy the Dark Eldar had probably been around a couple of hundred years atleast.

that would be long enough for them to effect the beleauged planets. But weren't the eldra and orks "created" to battle the necrons?

MutantMaggot - October 22, 2007 09:08 AM (GMT)
Yes, but the fall was way after the 'crons retreated and the c'tan fell dormant. Besides, if anything, the birth of Slaanesh would have not helped the necrons, being a warp entity.

The eldar were not created to battle the necrons. They were simply some of the more powerful of the old ones' creations, who suffered from the necrons. The orks, however, were a final attempt by the old ones to fight off the necrons.

Hope that helps,
MM ;)
