Here is the Space Wolf proto-type I made back in 2k4. The design and color has changed a bit, but the basics are there. I like the mantle on my Marines, as I think it lends itself to the Space Wolf look.

Excellent! I love this guy, really nice work on the conversion and it just scsreams Space Wolves!
I alway thought it'd be good to create a distinction between the Terran and Fenrisian Space Wolves, perhaps the odd model with the standard marine bareheads thrown in might work.
Definately want to see more guys like this though, he's brilliant. :)

Nice wolf , the only thing was that i thought space wolf armour pre-heresy was a codex grey sort of colour.

The pre-heresy color is Codex grey. This one was done originally a prototype for a 40K force of Wolves.

I like the idea of a few bare headed marines tossed in. I have the Red Scorpion helms from FW, and a vast collection of heads to work with, so a few bare, and maybe even a dark sin toned head would lend a few variations to the force.

Thank you for the kind words. He is the lower legs from various Chaos Marines, I think the hokey-pokey posed Berserkers, the Fantasy Chaos Warriors bod, a Space Wolf power sword, and a Chaos Marine bolter.

The head has about the only GS on it, mainly the hair. I also redid some of the fur on the shoudlers.

I just trolled up a topic on B&S, and I think it's gonna change the direction of my 30K army...
