Title: epic custodes

Hi,
First I just want to say that I'm glad I found this forum as I've been itching to get back into the hobby. Here I have my version of the adeptus custodes. I know that they are not modelled correctly they were the best I could do at the time.

Thay did make jetbikes for epic but those are hard to come by now. I did my own out of the plastic marine bikes. Not much work just cut off the wheels and mounted on a flying stand. I'll post a pic soon.

Excellent work on the Custodes, I could be mistaken but it looks like you've used the old Eldar Exarchs as the basis of the troops.
Really nice work! What else do you have planned for the army?

You are correct I used the eldar exarch modael sans wings and the cloak from the sm captain mini.
I'm starting over on the custodes as I traded this force for other epic minis. I hope to improve on the new ones I'm planning for the spring/summer, plus a unit of terminators and a transport of my own pattern of land raider.

Thanks Doghouse. I'll try to finish up and get some pics of painted stands up. Just need to find some figures to do a stand. :huh:

just a progress report I'm almost done with one stand just need to add the bolters to the top of the poles.
