I just recentyl became a DA fan and ive been trying to decide which pre heresy arm i should do so then I learned more about the DA and decided to do them.

Not bad, not bad at all. I love the pose of the seargent. Nice looking battle damage, too. FW MkIV heads really make them look good.

How did you do the H beam wreckage?

Downtown hobbyshop sells model trains and they have these plastistruct beams that you use to make buildings.

Very grimy looking, I like the battle damage look. I dunno if its a camera effect or how you painted it, but aren't the DA traditionally pure black? Looks like more of a greyish in the picture.

Nice base too, I think it needs to contrast a little more with the mini, though.

I paint them by drybrushing fortres greay over the entire model and i just layer it on the lighter parts like the sword on the shoulder pad (also layer skull white on it)
