Ah! Another take on the 30K Wolfs! They look good. I especially like he venerable dread.

Nice work on the eyes, they really look nice. Any particular technique on them, or just really careful work with a detail brush?

@Thocan: for the eyes, I fill the lences with Scab red, then the lower half in Blood Red, a line in Fiery orange, and finally a "reflect" (a point...) in Skull white. And the practise of this technique...

Say I am getting ready to start a pre-heresy wolf army. I was wondering what is a good way to start the base color. I think if my memory serves me right the army is a true codex grey right? Could someone let me know, I would be very greatfull.

I started using some Codex Grey, but since the Foundation set is out, I start on a coat of Adeptus Battlegrey.
