In here you will be able to take a closer look at each family. This will describe what they own, what they can do with their element, and which family is in the lead of having the better grace with the White Witch. Please keep looking back because it will be updated many times.
Here is something to think about when creating a character who is going to be part of one of the cursed families:
The cursed that the White Witch placed on the families were to lose control of their powers. They have some stability because of the offerings they bring ever ten years. Some of the members in the families have passed on because their powers became too much for them to handle.
Also, it has been a long time since the original family members recieved their powers. They have had children, who have carried on the same powers. The families would have their children marry their cousins and second cousins, because they did not know how it would affect those who married a normal human.
Over the years, members from the families have taken on human mates. Since then, the powers of the generations have become weaker. There is a chance that an offspring carries the element of their family. That 50/50 probability is the only realistic hope that the older generations have in order to keep their family from being overtaken by the others. That is the "logical" reason behind why the six families choose to give brith to so many children over the generations. Any one member would do anything (or anybody for that matter) to ensure that the "gifts" live on.
If you choose, your character does not have to have a power in order to belong to one of the families.

So far these two are closest to being the most powerful families besides the Meridians. The reason for this fact is because in 1930 they were the only family to be combind with marriage.
