Appearance: Aiden stands at an impressive height of six feet one inch (6'1) with a body of subtle muscles built over the years from minor sports and games played with family and friends. A late obsession with exploring and climbing has toned his rather lanky appearance with wide shoulders and lean hips coupled with long legs that seem to eat up the ground as he walks. Many a times he finds himself slouching as he walks, kind of a lazed gait since he takes the time to enjoy his surroundings instead of just simply passing them by.

As for his face, the shape is impeccably oval, long with a smooth chin that is normally dusted with a bit of fuzz when he forgets to shave each morning. Sharp cheekbones and a wide forehead draws his face out while making his hazel eyes seem sunken and small. Thick black brows that fade into light brown at the tips cover oval shaped orbs that have a habit of changing between green and brown shades depending on mood or simple surroundings.

Something many don't know about Aiden is that he is far-sighted, meaning he can see things far away but anything up close he would need glasses to read. Naturally he keeps his oval glasses in a case somewhere nearby encase he needs them though normally he would wear contacts; though they have a habit of drying his eyes out and ticking him off.

His sharp nose centers his face, evidence that it has yet to be broken even though many have tried, while shadowing his thin Cupid's bow mouth. Even with white teeth a full smile from Aiden is very rare, though catching sight of one will reveal a chipped tooth from earlier years of sports. Most times a simple half grin, a lifting of one side of his mouth is all the signs of a grin he is willing to share of himself.

Thick short strands of rich brown and black hair falls to the base of his neck with several locks sticking up and about his entire head. It is very obvious that no professorial has styled his hair as several strands tend to be longer in some places while others uneven. There is no real style to the way Aiden wears his hair, it is simply what he can tame with a brush or his fingers when he awakes and remembers to deal with the strands. Most times his hair is spiked and mussed from Aiden scratching his head in thought or frustration.

The color of his skin is a pale gold, a testament to his love of the outdoors. Aiden has a voice that is smoky and deep with a southern twang, he need not raise it to be heard and he is not one to repeat himself. From all his years of sports and simple childish games Aiden never once had a scar to worry about [only broken bones], though a tree gave him one.

At the age of twelve Aiden decided to climb his neighbor's oak tree and fell out of it, in the process he gained a deep, two inch jagged slash across his chest near his heart. The wound needed several stitches and two staples but otherwise he was fine though the end result was a raised scar that will never go away.

Aiden has no tolerance for jewelry, he does not even wear a watch, and he is definitely not the type of person to get piercings anywhere on his body. Though he does have a small hobby of collecting hats, any type and any brand: from the most fashionable to the most ridiculous he does not care and yes he will wear them in public if he felt like it.

For clothing Aiden wears for comfort, simple vintage tee shirts with a suit jacket or hoody pulled over with cargo pants or jeans. Belts are used for their purposes and not for style and because of this Aiden will not wear anything that is too oversized though he will tolerant some. A favorite of his is a leather racing jacket and motorcycle boots though he had been seen wearing beat up sneakers.

Wooden Voices
Aiden can 'hear' the voices of live wood [anything made from wood is considered deadwood]. The voices actually don't have a true voice, no words, but they give off strong presences and feelings that Aiden 'feels' with them. The only problem with this ability is that it is almost always on and he has trouble blocking out more than three voices when emotions are high.

Live Wood
Simple ability to manipulate any wood, be it live or dead though live wood responses quicker to his commands while the dead takes deep concentration to 'waken'. This ability is a bit unstable at the time, roots underground that are close to Aiden have a habit of trying to reach out for him...calling for attention. It is more tuned to his emotions though any extreme emotions can confuse his own ability and it can turn on him if he is not careful.
