READ THE HINT BELOW THE TUTORIAL FIRST

Im gonna teach you to make an orb simular to this one

1.Lets start by making a document with the same height as width.
make sure there is a color on the background and then go to
Filter>render>different clouds and press control+f, now press
control+I.
Then press control+L and change it to these settings

2.Now go to Filter>Disort>Polar coordinates and use
"Rectangular to polar".
now it should look something like this:

3. now duplicate the layer 3 times(so you have 4 layers).
rotate 1 90° cw, 1 90°ccw and 1 180°. Leave the last one as it is.
Change the blending mode of the top layer to lighten and the 1
below him overlay and then the next 1 lighten.
if you did this right it should look like this:

4. Now merge all the layers(control+E 3 times on top layer).

5. Now you need to cut out the "orb".take the eliptical marquue
tool and with the mose to some corner, than hold shift and
drag the mose to the the other corner(if you go to top left corner
you right lower corner) and it should go around the "orb",
if not try to make it go around it. Dont make a layer

6. Now left click and select "select inverse. then it should select
the area around the orb. If it is press delete. Now do the same thing
as before, left click and select "select inverse", If
you did this right you should have the orb selected again, If not
just do the thing to select the orb again in part 5.


7. Now go to filter>Disort>wave and use these settings

no of Generators: 5
Wavelenght 29min - 435 max
amplitude 34 min - 122 max
scale 100% - 100%

and make sure sine is checked

when you done this press randomize few times.

It should look SIMILAR to this, it dosent come out the same.

8. Now duplicate the layer and go to Edit>Transform>Flip hotizontal,
set the blending mode to lighten and merge the layers together.

9. Duplicate the layer and go to filter>transform>rotade 180°

Add some color to it and your done :D

.:HINT:.

If you meake the image larger you get different and more complex orb.
for example I made this one as 500x500 and then changed the image size
to 300x300

save the image as gif file to get rid of the white are around the orb
