Im goin to show you how to make this candy type text:


1.One type the text you want.*I used white white for the text,I havent tryed any other colors with the these blending options yet*,The font i used is called "5 cent".You can find this font at DaFont.com

2.Layer>Blending Options
Apply these settings:







You should have something like this.


Now if you want the background effect continue reading,but if you dont there is no need to read any further.

To get the background effect you need to duplicate the text layer(layer>Duplicate Layer) and then rasterize the layer(Layer>RasteriZe>Layer).

Now do a motion blur(Filter>Blur>Motion Blur).You can do this any using any settings you like.I used:
Angle=0*
Distance=10

Now your done you should have something like this.
