Installing the mod:

Sorry about not putting the install instuctions in the readme, I really don't know why it wasn't included.

Unzip the Zip file into your Doom 3 folder with folder names on. If that doesn't work then make a folder called Doom 2 and put the files in there. Then select it from the mod menu and play the map you wish to play by typing it in the console, or run the bat file.

Again I apologise for the inconvinience of no install instructions.

ADDED:

I have found out what is causing the problem. In my attempt to save bandwidth and space I used a compression method for the pk4 file that is somehow not compatible with Doom 3's decompression methods. I will rectify this soon and it should be available to download in the near future.

Once again I apologise for my error and the inconvinience.

Aha! So that's why the file's suspiciously small.

The fixed version has been uploaded now. Thanks to Bluehair at D3Files for hosting it and being so co-operative.

We are going to be doing all 30 but at a later date. We need to sort out these 9 first and we have some other things to do as well.

I have download this mod, followed your directions, and still cannot get it to work. Tried using the bat no go. Tried console no go. Tired everything and nothing. When I open it up it makes 2 folders. 1. is the doom 2 file you speak of. 2. it makes another file doom 11 with the bat file. It does not show up on mod window, typing map Entryway in the console states can not find map. I do have the fixed version so what am I doing wrong.

Well the bat file has been listed as not working. You need to open up doom 3 as you have done and select Doom 2 from the mod menu. Now you can use the Entryway map by typing it in the console. Hope that helps.

As stated in my first post I have done that. Opened doom 3 as normal, looked in the mod window, and your map doom 2 is not showing up. All I have listed in the mod window at this time is cdoom, no doom 2. Its in the correct file so I dont know why its not showing up on the mod window. Unless you cannot have another mod in your doom 3 file as it messes with it in someway. Dont know.

I had done that several times in fact more times than I care to count. So I tried a few more times and it works now. Why it didnt during this process any of the other times is beyond me. as it unzipped the same way each time.. Just the nature of the beast. Looks good , I like the map

Ehen i first played the game it was fine. Then when i went further it started to lag a big amount of times. angrysquare.gif it is very disturbing and the gameplay stinks(the lag). The game is great, but i really hate the lag.
