The Laws of Knowledge It is not just highly recommended, but required that you read the pages found within this forum. The more one knows, the less likely they are to overlook a rule which could result in dire consequences, so please do not forget to read all impertinent information before auditioning for a part in the story. Thank you!

First Auditions This is where newly registered characters go for a trial run, their very first screen test. It is important that you have already read the rules before attempting an audition. This is so that you are able to understand about the workings of this site and we thank you for the time and effort you've put into reading and following those guidelines set by the Administration of the site and the game therein. There is also a subtopic called The Orphanarium where there are adoptable characters. You have one week to finish or edit partially finished applications.

DoT's Cast Members Once your characters profile has been approved you will need to copy and paste it here, with last name first, first name last, ie. Kringle, Noel. Afterward you may begin on your first in-character post knowing that your profile is safe here and the history and family information can be edited at a later date as needed. When a character dies their profile will be moved to the sub-forum DoT's Missed Castings.

The Pitstop Several game pieces fall into the Pitstop forum. There's even a sub-forum inside for Character Diaries, although they are not required, some people do enjoy them. There are of course maintenance threads found inside and a thread to ask any questions and concerns you might have about the game. We look forward to hearing from you and being of service in any way possible, pertaining that is to the game.

Graphic Stuios Where else should one go to test out a table or to request a set from one of the site artists? Where else than Graphic Studios. If you think you've got talent and time enough to go around for those who'll be clamoring for your tables or full sets then why not set up shop? Anyone can show off their artistic talent here and get comments from others on how good it is and maybe some suggestions on how to improve or what program might be of interest to you. The simplest thing though is to just have fun.

Onartok Desert The Onartok Desert is even further south than the Savana, with much less vegetation and only one watering hole where plants other than cactus is able to flourish. The watering hole is known as an Oasis and is the only source of water other than the juice one might be able to obtain from a cactus plant, though that can be difficult and painful thanks to the needles that grow out from it. When it rains, which is very rare the ground soaks it up quickly. It is for the most part a barren wasteland whose temperatures can rise so high that within a matter of minutes to long out beneath the sun one can suffer heatstroke. However during the night, because the sun has disappeared the temperatures can drop well below zero. The only shade other than from a cactus comes from the rolling sand dunes, but in the desert one might be aware least they be caught in a sandstorm that could bury them alive in a matter of minutes.

Tuaq Tundra No where on the continent of Acelle does it get more cold than in the depths of the Tuaq Tundra, a place where it is constantly frozen save for an all to brief growing season which allows very few herbivores to thrive, though in some areas of that same Tundra there is still always something for them to graze on. The most one might see is a herd of caribou or bison and sometimes even a snowshoe hare, but not much else. Still that means that carnivores can thrive as well, because they have something on which they can dine. While the tundra may be a frozen wasteland, it still has an appeal all of its own. One can look out over it for miles and see nothing but snow and ice since most of the vegetation is low to the ground, though on its outer perimeter one might see a few evergreens and other coniferous trees scattered here and there.

Anuun Plains These are the plains surrounding the hills of the nearby valley and its mysterious lake. One can see for miles nothing more than grassland and maybe a tree or two scattered about, but for the most part all that exists is the miles and miles of endless grass and wildflowers. A place where prairie dogs and groundhogs forage alongside ground squirrels and rabbits that like to nibble on the clover. It's a wide open and beautiful space, though littered with holes made by the ground dwelling creatures whom forage on the vegetation of the plains. There is often a lovely breeze, causing the grass and wildflowers to lightly and delightfully dance beneath the sun on a very rarely cloudy day. Where there are patches of wildflower there is an assortment of color to please the eye, but found here too in some areas are the poppies which may lull many to sleep.

Sangilak Twin Mountains The twin mountains, although they do not resemble each other, they are very close and thus were given the title of The Mountain Twins. From one of the mountains water falls from the Sparkling Cascades into a river below that feeds into the lake which is surrounded by the lovely Valley and the glorious Northern Hills. Neither Mountain is entirely safe, but each has several various and intertwining paths leading from the bottom to the top, but some paths are more dangerous to tread than others. Many have fallen from one of the twins and few have lived to tell their tale and those who did survive often had complications such as memory loss, constant pain or even the loss of a limb. However the view from the very top of the twins is spectacular and for those living there a great vantage point as its difficult there for any potential threat to go unnoticed for long.

Kirima Hills The Northern Hills or better known as the Kirima Hills, are covered in thick foliage, one might consider that its a Forest rather than a Hill, but it is several rolling hills filled with beautiful trees mainly birches, reds and oak as well as fruit bearing trees. There are two rivers which cuts through the Northern Hills, one of them separating them from the Southern Hills feeding off from the lake. The rivers provide a great source of water, although the Northern Hills do boarder a portion of the beautiful sparkling lake. In one part of the Northern Hills is a small meadow filled with tall yellow grass and green clover with a lovely patch of various wildflowers. Many a butterfly and hummingbird is attracted to the trees and bushes which surround the meadow for lovely flowers in the shapes of hearts and bells grow on them and it seems a peaceful place that most cannot bring themselves to disturb.

Corazon Valley A deep valley, called Corazon Valley was formed ages ago during the last ice age, which even Acelle could not have escaped unscathed, though did fairly better than some of the other continents in so far as some wildlife is concerned, though still suffered great loss. Through time and erosion the Valley was created, surrounded by various hills to the north, south and east, with twin mountains capping it off to the western boarders. From the Valley one can watch as the water from the falls cascades down the mountain into the river which feeds into the Lake. Several rivers flow through the Valley into and out of the lake. Which is perhaps the very reason that the Valley is so filled with life and the beauty of the various orchid flowers and fruit bearing trees and the large patches of grass and meadow lands. Although the Valley is most susceptible to flooding, it remains one of the most lovely of the lands of this area of the Acelle Continent.

Tlate Hiin Lake Situated in a lovely valley and bordering the Kirima Hills is the splendid Tlate Hiin Lake which, with the rays of the sun shimmers making it all the more alluring. However a mystery surrounds the lake, more than one and not all of them good. Many a tale has been centered around the lake, though its appeal to the eye is vast there are those who remain weary of its true nature, whatever that might be. Although the lake is a wondrous place to start a romance or for youths to splash and swim it would not exist without the two rivers which flow into it, one from the mountain and one from beyond that same mountains twin. Three other rivers flow from the lake, one turning into a pond just barely touching the Southern Hills. Overhead of the Lake the sun usually seems content with few if any clouds to darken the day, although various birds circle the water source and often take a swim or dive in it, a serene enough landmark, but still with mysterious that have long gone unsolved.

Pukiq Hills The Southern Hills, better known as the Pukiq Hills has two rivers flowing through it, one of these rivers separates it from the Northern Hills. The River is wide enough for those on either side not to be to bothered by each other if they are simply there to relax and have a sip from the cool refreshing natural liquid. Still on either side creatures can see others on the other side. The other river which flows through it, does not flow through it completely to another land, but borders it from the Valley in part until it branches a few miles and then stops going nowhere as it cannot flow uphill. The Southern Hills while they may not be as dense in foliage as the Northern Hills it still does have several forms of vegetation, mostly of the vegetable variety, ferns and moss with a few sequoia trees scattered throughout the territory. One Sequoia tree stands taller and wider than the rest and some believe it to be a Tree of Life and Wisdom and the animals fortunate enough to call it home are often envied by others with this same belief.

Yakone Savanna The Yakone Savanna is to the southern boarder of the Plains, although not quite a desert wasteland it is often very hot, though it is a dry heat and little water can be found other than below ground or in the two small waterholes that can be found on it, especially during the rainy season. One does however have to watch out for the Crocodiles that live the shallows, but it is the only real source of water which perhaps accounts for the many sad tragedies of families that sometimes never quite got larger. It's either die of dehydration or chance getting eaten by a crocodile by taking a sip from one of the watering holes. Although there is a time when the Savanna is green it soon grows dried out and brown, but for some creatures still a source of nutrients and even some trees can grow, though most are found close to where the water can be found. The rest of the vegetation is usually elephant or buffalo grass dried out on the ground and sometimes lovely yellow flowers bloom, though not year round.

Archives Inside one will find the stories and conversations of ages past. There's an OoC archive for each real time year and IC archives for each IC year to keep it better organized. It's fun to see how the site has evolved and continues to evolve and to learn about things that the members were talking about back in the beginning of DoT's heydays, hopefully it will continue to thrive from beginning to...who knows when? Please enjoy!
