Looking back, it's hard to see how people found these games enjoyable. I mean, the gameplay is just awful.
Ever played FF1 NES? Terrible.

...they were the best thing u could make back then, i mean...try adding a 4 member party controlled by 1 player with different classes, an inn, NPCs, kinds of shops for all the items, different towns, story and a final boss to inferno...u dont have enough banwith?they didnt have enough space ether

Lol, the characters hardly moved when they attacked, yet they magically hit any enemy on the other side of the 'frame barrier'.

well...at leasdt they removed the barrier in FFII - FFVI and the remakes
