Title: FFX-2 isn't that bad.

I don't see why many people don't like it. Sure, the story isn't that good, but it's a fun game.

Oh yeah, I agree. That and your characters wear skimpy outfits :D!

Skimpy outfits are the bomb.

Let's see, they took everything from FFX that was good, and made it terrible. I loved Yuna in her Summoner role. Her timidness, yet strong will and heart was great...but then she turned into an upbeat annoying tramp in X-2. When she first told Nooj that his plan sucked, I wanted to crawl into a fetal position and cry. They absolutely ruined her.
I have gripes with Rikku as well. She was gorgeous in FFX (maybe I think so because I have a thing for Asian girls, but whatever), but in X-2, she was FAR more annoying than before, and dressed similarly like Christina Augilera to boot. That was simply horrible. And Paine was pretty much a female rip off of Squall, down to her speech and all. Just great. >_>
Okay, wasn't Yuna supposed to be scouring Spira for spheres that could lead her to Tidus? Then why did she spend the majority of the game chasing after Vegnagun? WHY? What was the point, really? To make the plot confusing by adding in Vegnagun, Shuyin, and Lenne? Well, they surely succeeded in that.
Bottom line, Final Fantasy X-2's ONLY saving grace was its pretty good music and ability/class system. Otherwise it's about as worthless as Linkin Park's newest CD.

The game is about the outfits not the story.

That is NOT good excuse for it being a shitty ass game.
redruMssaM - October 11, 2004 02:28 PM (GMT)
ok ok - Its about outfits AND music.
Waterproof Blonde - October 11, 2004 02:35 PM (GMT)
That isn't an argument. -__-

I liked the battle system.....that is all
hannah_fdl - October 15, 2004 11:35 PM (GMT)
Yes... Yuna changed her whole "shy" thing
The Special One - October 16, 2004 12:47 AM (GMT)
I agree with Waterproof Blonde but i still think it was a very good game
hannah_fdl - October 27, 2004 05:17 AM (GMT)
It was good, but it's different, as if it wasn't a sequel to FFX. They could have changed the char's names and it could be a new FF
Lovely man - November 7, 2004 08:08 PM (GMT)
weeeelllll
The girls were mostly beautiful!
Paine was more of a rough one but that makes her cool
The story was kind of touching. IF u get the perfect ending
Keanag Redclaw - November 7, 2004 08:41 PM (GMT)
i liked how you can learn newabilities during battle and use them
so if the battle is really long you dont have to wait for the end for the new techniques :D
Lovely man - November 7, 2004 08:44 PM (GMT)
yup that was AWESOME AWESOME and FUN
made random battles fun!
Dkj400 - November 7, 2004 09:21 PM (GMT)
When they were changing dress spheres, hee hee...
The Special One - November 8, 2004 11:49 AM (GMT)
I played through FFX-2 5 times and i got 100% and i didnt even do everything in the game. I missed 1 dressphere, and i didnt do the 100 levels of beville. LMAO
KnightOfTheSquareTable - November 28, 2004 06:26 PM (GMT)
I blowed my @$$ off gettin 100% in the first play...now i hate Yevon!
The battles were the fastest ive seen in a FF, with the chan system, it actually made sence to attack at the same time( ever use 3 trigger happy gunners at tthe same time?) and the alchemy class rocked(infinite Elixirs and mega phoenix!) also the Magic gunner had the coolest megics ive seen in PS2 graphics, the game had great music too, and bout Yunas personality, wouldnt u react the same way after such a jurney? Rikku is...cute, and all the girls look more Asian, which i guess is good, though they got sum of the drama outta FFX they gave it a happy, touching, warm endin
