Rip this tutorial if you want.. I couldn't care less.

Step 1
------------------------------
Open up a new document. I used 400x125 with a white background.

Step 2
------------------------------
Make a new text layer with the font, size, and color of your choosing.

Step 3
------------------------------
Add this layer style to your text layer. (You can also experiment with different bevels and/or different layer styles to make your 3d text different.)

Step 4
------------------------------
Duplicate the text layer. Now select your move tool and nudge your text 1 pixel up (by pressing the up arrow on your keyboard) and 1 px left (by pressing the left arrow on your keyboard).

Step 5
------------------------------
Repeat step 4 until you get the desired height for your text.

Step 6
------------------------------
Hide your background layer and do shift + ctrl + e to merge your text layers together.

Experiement with different things to make your 3d text unique.

Some Ideas:
- Transformations on your 3d text.
- Add a warped text effect before you being step 4.
- Mix up your bevel's highlight colors on each individual layer before step 6.
- Add differnt layer styles to your top text layer and/or your text layers under it before step 6.
