Ok, I was insanely bored today so I decided to make a tutorial for you guys because I'm that bored. It's not real useful for sigs but it's decent effect. Here I go...

1. Start out with a 400x400 white canvas.

2. Now fill the background with black.

3. Ok, now go into Filter>Render>Lens Flare. Center the lens flare as much as possible. Use the 50-300mm Zoom with 125% Brightness. Repeat this step four times for a total of 5 lens flares. It now should look something like this.

4. Now use Filter>Distort>Spherize with Amount:100% and Mode: Normal. Now it should look something along the lines of this:

5. Head up to Filters and use Filter>Sketch>Chrome with these settings: Detail: 10 Smoothness: 0

6. Now use Filter> Render> Lighting Effects with these settings:

And now it should look like this:

7. Now I reccomend using a color balance for some flash (ctrl+ B). I just messed around until I found something I liked like this:

8. Now use the ellpitical marquee tool. Hold Shift while doing it to make a perfect circle and encompass the bright area in the middle.

9. Now right click on the area and click Select Inverse.

10. Now use Filter> Blur> Radial Blur and use these settings:

11. Now simply deselect and voila!

Like I said, I know it's not useful for sigs and such but I was bored and I wanted to try out an in-depth tutorial on you guys. Hope you like it!

P.S. Could someone submit this to good-tutorials for me? I tried but it won't work. Thanks!

Thank you!

P.S. I would also appreciate it if you would rank the tutorial on an x/10 basis. By this I mean the quality of the tutorial, not the actual outcome.

Hi, I find this tutorial extremely helpful. I found it on www.good-tutorials.com. I plan on using this in a logo I'm making a for company. However I am having a slight problem. On step 3, I am trying to do the Filter>Render>Lens Flare, and I can't figure out why the option is grayed out in the menu  (very frusteratin). I have tried many times repeatedly following the steps, only to no avail. Could someone please help me here. Thanks.
