Now that the colors are pretty much fixed up (thanks TB9 for finding a guide on what all that crap meant), I think we're ready to go full steam here. Tomorrow night I will lock all forums down on the ezboard and put up a link to this place unless somebody can tell me why not before then. The new board is set to go. I see no reason to postpone any more. Images, smilies, and whatnot I can fix later (if anyone has our old custom post/reply buttons, I'd appreciate getting those). Anybody still left will filter over here, hopefully before ezboard purges it.
Speaking of which, if there is anything over there you want to keep for whatever reason GET IT NOW. I can't guarantee how long that board will remain. Now, a rundown of some stuff for people who have not used Invision boards before: 1. We now have a PM system which lets you message other users. This should rid us of threads saying "HEY (whoever)!" 2. You can edit your own custom title, it's in your profile. This is why Public Humiliation is not there. 3. This system is a lot more stable than ezboard ever was, I don't anticipate any of the super weird bullshit we had over there, especially of late 4. You can upload your own avatar (pic under your name) to the board without hosting it. Don't make them huge, we've only got 12 megs for all uploaded files. That's about all I can think of offhand, but the system is very versatile and there's lots of shit to play with. That's it, move along now. |

1 - cant find the 'edit custom title' in the edit profile section. is it under something else? 2 - can't upload my avatar. is that feature turned off for some reason? |

ezBoards has one. You buffoons never paid attention to your "Control Center" I guess...
That only activates when you first post a topic. If all you do is reply you're stuck with the damned forum default.
It's happened... Just not as signifacant and not really that noticeable. (Then again I do go to a free place with a T1 -or better- connection. Heh.)
