What is this?

Infinite Horizons is a play-by-post, free form RPG played within an original setting best defined as Futuristic Fantasy. A place where anything is possible, both literally and proverbially. Fate and the occult intervenes with reality, impossible events take place, creatures of myth have been revealed to exist, and races only of legend have come to be discovered.

What is Roleplaying?

Infinite Horizons' form of roleplaying, or "interactive writing," allows you to form all aspects of your character. As you start writing, other "authors" will join in, adding their own characters and helping in developing the plot. Here, you write as your character (or characters) interact with other people's characters, and become a part of the community. In short, Infinite Horizons is simply an ongoing, collaborative story.

On these forums, you may play a diplomat for the government, a rebel against prejudice and war, a common thief, a marine, and much, much more. A creative and friendly community has been composed--you can also be a part of it.

Site Creator Group: Admin Posts: 720 Member No.: 1 Joined: 31-December 04	The rules of post on Infinite Horizons are as follows: 1. Please try to have at least /some/ length to your posts. At least three to four quality sentences minimum for each reply. Of course, you may type as much as you'd like. 2. SPELL CHECK. 3. Mature Content posts are allowed, so long as you advise a moderator/admin once things look like they are about to start getting heated, and we can change the topic name. If you have a feeling things will get heated from the start of the roleplay, put {Mature} in the title name to warn readers beforehand. 4. No Spamming, posting Ads, pointless threads, out of subject threads, or just things that ruin the pretty boards. 5. You may post in multiple threads with your character, assuming they are played at different times/months/ etc. Just be sure to keep track of where your character is. 6. Put the rating, or expected rating, in the title of your thread. If it changes, update the title as needed. Ex: {PG-13+} or {PG}
