In this tutorial, we are going to learn how to make a simple dragonball like the way you see it in the show.
Part 1: Dragonball1. Create a new document with a transparent background and make it 200x200.
2. Change the name of the current layer's (Layer 1) name to
Background.
3. Fill the whole layer with black and lock it.
4. Make a new layer and name is
White Glow.
5. Click on the
Elliptcal Marquee Tool. Then on the top under
Style, click on the dop down list and click on
Fixed Size. Change the Width to 100 px and the Height to 100 px.
6. Making sure your still on the Whilte Glow layer, fill the selection with white using the
Paint Bucket Tool and then press
Ctrl+D on your keyboard.
7. Now go to the
Layer>>>Layer Style>>>Inner Glow and use the these setting.

8. Create a new layer and name it
Ball.
9. Hold on to the
Ctrl key on your keyboard and then click on the White Glow layer.
10. Now using the
Paint Bucket Tool, fill the selection with the
#E35C18 color and then press
Ctrl+D on your keyboard.
11. Now right click on the Ball layer and click on
Blending Options and add these settings.
12. Now you should end up with this image.

13. Now make a new layer and name it
Yellow Thingy.
14. Click on the
Elliptcal Marquee Tool. Then on the top under
Style, click on the dop down list and click on
Fixed Size. Change the Width to 54 px and the Height to 54 px. Now place the selection at the bottom right corner of the ball.
15. Fill the slection with the
#F1B422 color and then press
Ctrl+D on your keyboard. And then change the settings of this layer (Yellow Thingy layer) to this.

16. Now again create a new layer and name it
Reflection.
17. Ok using the
Elliptcal Marquee Tool and holding
Shift on your keybaard, make an oval selections and place it like the way I have it.

18. Press D on your keyboard and then press X. Click on the
Gradient Tool and make sure it is on
Linear Gradient. Then change gradient to
Foreground to Transparent. Now drag the gradient just like the way I did it in the picture. Then change the
Opacity of the Reflection Layer to 75%
Part 2: The Stars19. Now click on the brush tool and then load the burshes called
Assorated Brushes. In there you will find a brush that looks like the one I have in the picture, choose that one and change the size of it to 15 px or a size of your choice.
20. Create a new layer and name is
Stars.
21. Change your
Foreground color to
#CB2320, and then select the
Brush Tool.
22. Now make as many Stars you want on the layer and then change the
Blending Options to this.
