Title: Suggestions
Ethan P. Halliwell - February 1, 2007 02:57 PM (GMT)
If you have any suggestions to help us improve this site, please let us know!
James Warren - February 5, 2007 07:56 AM (GMT)
Hmm... one of my suggestions is to maybe have a Molecular-related class for the students with powers like me; Temporal Stasis, Molecular Combustion, Immbolization, etc. Just a thought.
Ethan P. Halliwell - February 5, 2007 01:07 PM (GMT)
Thank you for your suggestion! Because we are just getting off the ground, it may be a little difficult to add that class. As you can see, none of the classes have officially started, so once we get the core classes ((Potions, spell writing and casting, Battle Tactics and your specific abilities class)). We will see what we can do!!
Jordan Thompson - February 22, 2007 03:02 AM (GMT)
Personally, I think you should broaden the variety of classes you offer. Because right now, with my shapeshifting ability, I can't find a class to help me focus on it.
Ethan P. Halliwell - February 22, 2007 01:32 PM (GMT)
Again, let me repeat what I said. I would love to have as many classes as possible, however, our staff is EXTREMLY limited. I can create a class, but we still need a teacher for it. We have positions posted in several different locations, so hopefully someone will find them.
((Not to sound mean but, Shapeshifting is a demonic power. If you are refering to what Paige can do, that's morphing and it's associated with Whitelighters. We have a class for that already.))

This is a suggestion for when the site gets going. Later on into the "school year": Have the students you consider "top students" and form something called a First Response coven. In it, the "top students" (lead by a teacher(s) of course) would be assigned demons that are stiring up trouble and be sent to vanquish it. It could be some sort of Advanced Battle Tactics Class or something.
Ethan P. Halliwell - March 14, 2007 02:53 PM (GMT)
It seems like a good idea. I will consider it.
P. Serenity - March 16, 2007 02:09 AM (GMT)
Semester exam in battle tactics may be vaquishing a demon by using spells !!MEMORIZED!!! and not aloud to use any passive or active powers/abilitys
Shiloh Alexander - March 16, 2007 02:11 AM (GMT)
No offense, but that first suggestion defeats the purpose of having a spell writing and potions class. You can't just buy potions or spells, it's not how it works. You have to work hard yourself in order to come up with a potion or spell. The other way is, well, cheating.
And I really don't think you should be giving suggestions on a class you've never been in, especially when the teacher may have a set idea.
P. Serenity - March 16, 2007 02:13 AM (GMT)
i was in it this morning :(
Shiloh Alexander - March 16, 2007 02:16 AM (GMT)
Still, you never actually partook in it. I don't mean it to sound mean or to start a fight. I just wanted to say that maybe you should see what his class is about first hand before you suggest something.
Ethan P. Halliwell - March 21, 2007 05:09 PM (GMT)
Thank you, Kate, for your suggestion, however the point of Battle Tactics is to develop strategies to vanquish demons. You will not just vanquish demons by spells alone. Several times, you will need to use your active powers and abilities.
Eve Sanders - April 10, 2007 12:06 AM (GMT)
How about we have a relationship forum where can all post what relationships our characters have with one another.
For example, I'd have a thread labeled Eve Sanders and I'll have Shiloh Alexander as my best friend. Get it?
Maya Smith - April 10, 2007 12:08 AM (GMT)
I like that idea, but what about us new people? Would we have to wait?
Eve Sanders - April 10, 2007 12:10 AM (GMT)
No, we could modify our posts as we make new friends...or enemies...and you all can start one once you make friends, which is pretty easy around here since most of us are so nice...

Asher Thomas - April 10, 2007 01:12 AM (GMT)
If someone wanted to do that, they could save the admins the troubla of creating another forum and just post the info in their signatures.
Jaden Rhodes - April 10, 2007 01:14 AM (GMT)
I like Eve's idea. go eve! :)
Clark Richards - April 10, 2007 02:18 AM (GMT)
this is something i have seen on other rpg's. The admin could make a "Powers That Be" NPC that could post the outcomes of all the spells and potions used on the site. That way spells caould fail or backfire. It would just add a little spice and fun to the site, and i could make some interesting plot lines.
Ethan P. Halliwell - April 10, 2007 01:57 PM (GMT)
We will be adding a "Relationship Forum". Additionally, if you'd like, you can put it into your signature as well.
I'm a little unclear as to the "Powers the Be" NPC. What exactly is NPC? What would they do?
Clark Richards - April 10, 2007 06:27 PM (GMT)
an NPC is a non player character, it is just like another admin. All they would do is post the result of all spells and potions, as opposed to the caster or brewer of the potion of spell.
Ethan P. Halliwell - April 10, 2007 06:28 PM (GMT)
Interesting. I'll talk it over with my Deputy Headmistress. It sounds like a good idea.
Clark Richards - April 10, 2007 09:44 PM (GMT)
Awesome thanks. But you would have to be sure all students and staff knew they were no longer allowed to post the outcomes of their spells our potions.
Jaden Rhodes - April 10, 2007 10:41 PM (GMT)
I dont know if i really like that idea. It gives us less freedo to do our roles.
Clark Richards - April 10, 2007 10:43 PM (GMT)
But it adds alot of realism to the game
and most of the time the spells would work out how you planned, as long as you made it clear what outcome was intended.
And wehn the spells did somethign different it could be comical or at least interesting
Jaden Rhodes - April 10, 2007 11:02 PM (GMT)
Clark Richards - April 10, 2007 11:04 PM (GMT)
yea, and if it doesn't wrok out they can always get rid of it.
Ethan P. Halliwell - April 11, 2007 04:59 PM (GMT)
The Administration team reviewed your request. After weighing both the positives and the negatives, we find that it is not appropriate for this site. We strongly encourage all RPer's to mess up, but at the same time, they're suppose to have fun with what they're doing. Thank you for the suggestion, feel free to suggest anything else.
Chris Turner - May 1, 2007 12:36 AM (GMT)
Have more classes!!! i mean more defense against evil classes1 and i mean i should have the credentials to be able to teach that! And if someone suggest a good class to you then you could come to me and i would teach it. so any positions i will take them i love teaching.
Ethan P. Halliwell - May 1, 2007 11:55 AM (GMT)
Defense against evil is Battle Tactics.
