Madeline stood in the middle of the room as her class filed in for the next lesson.
I'm sorry it took so long for this new lesson, she said, once they were all assembled in front of her. Things have been a little bit crazy around here.
She began pacing as she always did. Now, some things I noticed from last class that we need to work on, besides interupting the lesson for an unnecessary argument, is reflexes and instincts. Today will be reflexes.
Suddenly something came flying at Professor Maddie from behind. She spun around and froze it just inches away.
See, reflexes, she said. Can someone give me a proper definition of the word reflex or reflexes?

I walk into the classroom, seeing only the Professer and no one else.
"Hi Professer, sorry I'm late. I think a reflex is, being prepared for anything that comes at you, by surprise.Is that right?"I ask as I sit down at one of the desks.

Reflex is a term used to note or pertaining to an involuntary response to a stimulus, the nerve impulse from a receptor being transmitted inward to a nerve center that in turn transmits it outward to an effector. Parker added.
