I enter the huge library and my mouth drops open in awe as I look around the large room. Shelves of books. Everywhere.

"This is where I'll be staying most of my time," I think.

i take a step into the library a im stopped in my tracks because of how beautiful and hug the library is..~i sigh~ im never going to find answers to who my parents are in here...~sigh~ i take a look around the library....book, books and more books..wow ill be here forever looking..

I walk into the library with a mission, a mission to find as much information I can about demons and warlocks. I look at the library index and I take note that books about evil beings is on the first floor landing, so I make my way upstairs where the place is much more quiet up here. I find the isle I want and I then finger through the many shelves of books. As I eye various collections, a loud creak from the floor startles me. I turn to look at who made the noise but nobody is around. I get goosebumps but continue to rummage the books. Again, a loud creak is heard. "What the?" I peer out the side of a shelf and realize that the whole first floor seems to be deserted, "Who made the noise?" I think. The creak is heard once more and I spin around to see if somebody is creeping up behind me. I look and see that a gnome was also in the room, "Arghh!" I shout loudly. Someone downstairs whispers, "Shhh." as I look at the tiny gnome who is only a few feet tall. "You scared the jeepers out of me," But the gnome ignores my comments, rolling his eyes, and walks away. I scoff and I continue looking back at the books. "Magic School is weird."

It take me a little time to find the Library, but once I do I'm in awe of it. It's so much bigger then any other library I saw in the human world and I wander if I'll be able to find the Empathy books I need in all of those shelves. With a sigh, I pull my backpack tighter to my shoulder, pass a boy about my age muttering something about a gnome and get started looking for any books on the Empathy power.

I walk in and out of several isles until my eye catches a gorgeous young girl making her way passed me. Blushing, I can't seem to take my eyes off her. Beautiful. I take the chance to walk up to her, clearing my throat, "Hi," I smile as I look at the girl's pretty eyes, "I'm... I'm James. I started here a few days ago. Are you new too?"

Looks like a lot of potential for trouble here, I smirk to myself. If I play my cards right, no one will ever know...

I walk into the library, frustrated and angry at the Headmaster. Knowing I can't go up against him, I need some other outlet. Books! I call out repeatedly. Random library books begin to orb off of their shelves and fly through the air, creating a storm of books that rains upon the library. I keep it up for some time, orbing books from here to there, and everywhere, not paying any attention to anything or anyone else. "Thank God for magic," I think to myself as my rampage continues...

[ TIME LAPSE ]

I walk in with Wesly, and i'm really curious as to why he wanted to meet me.

I walk back into the library, looking at the mess I made earlier and smiling. Anyway, I look back at Jordan, who looks guilty and apprehensive for walking out of a class mid-swing. Focus here, kid. If you're gonna hang with me, you need to have thicker skin.

"My skin is plenty thick, thank you!" I say as i step back, "and who said anything about wanting to hang with you?"

I laugh a little bit at Jordan's comment. Okay, if you say so. Anyway, here's the deal, and remember...this is between me and you. This doesn't go any further than the two of us, just to make it clear. I have a little problem with Head Teach, I mean the Headmaster. We aren't seeing eye to eye, and I'm figuring that your power might help me out.

"Help you how exactly?" I ask.

My problem is this: I enrolled in a class for telekinetics, which I am, and Head Teach won't let me take it because my power works differently from other telekinetics, which is a load of crap. I talked to a couple other teachers around here, but they don't want to talk to him and they say that his word is law. I don't believe that for one second. I know enough about Halliwells to know that they do things by concensus. That's where you come in. I want you to go to Head Teach's office, disguised as another teacher, and convince him to let me into his class. Try being the Deputy Head Teach. I've talked to her once before. What you think?

"I think you're out of your mind! I can't do that! And you know what, I won't!" I Pause.
"But you could try and convince me somemore; try and sway my opinion Whitelighter."

"Hmm," I think, "he's interested but seems a little scared." First of all, don't call me 'Whitelighter.' I'm more of a witch. Second of all, I can sense that you're interested in doin' this. In fact, I know you wanna do it. I bet you're afraid of Head Teach. Don't worry about him. He won't suspect a thing, not as long as you don't go over the edge. Play it cool. And you do this for me, I'll help you out, you know, protect you.

"Protect me from what exactly?" I look at him intently, "I don't need your protection. I can take care of myself."

Don't make me laugh. Alls I'm sayin' is stick with me, kid, because I hate to burst yo' bubble, but there's bound to be people here who will want to push you around. It's the nature of the beast. I'm offering you the chance to hang with me. Nobody will mess with you.

"So are you saying that with you as my friend, i'm guaranteed never to get bullied. But without you
i'm totally a goner?"

You're twisting my words, kid. I don't doubt that you can more or less take care of yourself, but I can give you extra support when you might need it. Not everybody in Magic School is nice, you know. Here's what I'm sayin': we are freshmen here. There are more than likely upperclassmen who enjoy picking on the new guys. But, I know for a fact that there are very few people with powers like mine out in the world. It's just rare. Nobody's gonna want to mess with something that they can't out do.

"I'm sorry but I can't do what you're asking me. It's not aloud and it's dishonest. PERSONAL GAIN!"
I sigh," But i you look out for me i can look out for you."

"Oh ya, many of the teachers can do what you do, i'm sure. They are Halliwells after all."

Why do I feel like you knew what you were gonna say all along, and you were just trying to get more out of me? And how could you possibly look out for me? Enlighten me.

"What do you want me to say?" "I really think we should get back to class so we can finish our plan to vanquish Javna."

"So he's tryin' to play me," I think to myself. Alright, kid, I guess we can watch each other's back. As for class...I'll meet you there later. I'm tired; I'm gonna go catch a nap.

By the way, I checked up. Not all witches who are part whitelighter are telekinetic, they're usually just part whitelighter, so besides the healing and the orbing, my power makes me a rarity around here. Believe that. Peace out.

As Wesley turns around, he bumps into Ethan. So good to see you here, and not in class. Ethan said, his expression unchanging. You two, are in serious trouble. If there's one thing I don't appreciate, it's student's walking out on a class. As of now, Wesley, your are skating on thin ice. Jordan, it's your first day and you're already not making a good impression. I will see you both in Detention later. Wesley, you'll be serving two detentions with me since I've had it with your antics. Jordan, you'll only have one. Ethan turned his attention to Jordan. You are free to head back to class, Wesley on the other hand, you wont be allowed in my class again until you've served your detentions.

I turn to leave out of the library and bump into the Headmaster. "Aw crap," I think as I notice his not too pleased expression. I sigh as he gives me not one, but two detentions, and start to protest, but see the look on his face and decide against it. "There'll be another time to get into it with him." Man, this really blows! "And Jordan," I think as I exit, "he better watch his back."

[TIME LAPSE]

Wesley walks into the library. Books are still strewn about from his earlier rampage, but he ignores it. He's got more important things on his mind now, after having talked to Britnie earlier. "A vision quest," he repeats inside his head over and over. "I better do some investigatin' on it." Moving over to a computer, he types in 'Vision Quest' and up pops a list of related books. After a few minutes of searching, he finally finds a book that suits his needs. He goes to a deserted area of the library and begins to read.

I see Wesley at a computer when I enter the huge library..I hope he is getting somewhere with his vision quest I think to myself. I walk over to see a mess of books on the floor Where is the library staff aroud here? I say outloud well no biggie I use my power of telekinesis to lift the books off the floor and place them back where they belong There much better I think to myself. I then make my way to the section I need for my research on Deflection.

Ethan walked into the library, ensuring there was nothing going on. With a smile, he sat patiently behind the Resource Desk. We really need a librarian. I can't spend all my time here.

If is isn't the Head Teach himself, Wesley said, walking into the library. What, you do everything in this school now? Anyway, don't go startin' trouble with me. I'm just here to bring back this library book. Here. Wesley pulled the book about vision quests out of his backpack and placed it on the counter.

Yes, unfortunately, I do do everything in this school, at least until we can fill the staff positions. He took the book and signed it back in. Anything else?

Nah, Wesley said, smiling. I just wanna stand here a little longer and enjoy your frustration of running a school but not having anyone to run. It almost makes me giddy. Wesley laughed.

Glad something makes you happy.

I figure, since you keep such strict rules, I gotta make my fun somehow. Anyway, why don't you just hire somebody to do this? I mean, I don't really care much, but don't you think you're spreadin' yourself just a little thin?

I'm attempting to hire people, just no one wants this job. Not many people want a job. Madison--Professor Mitchell-- is in charge of advertising these positions.

Hmm, well I would've thought that a Headmaster would've thought of that before attempting to open up a school, but again, that's just me.

I have my core staff. I just need to tie up some loose ends with these open positions. Why do you care so much all of a sudden?

I don't, Wesley replied quickly. I just...well, after my vision quest I'm still trying to figure a lot of things out, and I figured it would be nice to just talk to you instead of yelling, I guess. Don't get it twisted though, I still don't like you, but it's more mellow now.

You should like him. He's pretty cool. I'd rather have him be ((air quotes)) mean, than not care at all. It's good to know he'd have our backs in a fight. She turned to the Headmaster. Here, she said handing him a book. I want to check this book out. She turned to Wesley, peace. She grabbed the book and headed back out.

Wesley looked at Melissa, confused, before turning to the Headmaster. I don't get her, he said. Anyway, gotta go. Peace out. Wesley turned and left the library. And find some help, he said as he walked away.
