This game was first released on the PSX. It also got released in the U.S but with horrible voice acting. Then it got remade on the PSP for Europe and Japan. This game in North America was renamed Tales of Destiny II for the sake of fans who got Tales of Destiny to think this is connected sequel. Please know that Tales of Destiny is not connected to Eternia in any way story-wise. On more news, Tales of Eternia has been announced to come stateside on the PSP.

Sypnosis
The story starts off with Rid and Farah. Suddenly, they see a bright light from the sky. It's a meteor! After a close call they find a girl named Meredy inside a capsule. They are unable to communicate with her and end up asking Keel to help them. After finding out she is a Celestian and other things they become certain that the Grand Fall theory will come true. The Grand Fall is a theory of two neighboring planets: Inferia and Celestia crashing into each other. Or from the Inferian's view, Celestia falling on Inferia. They venture forth to stop this theory from coming true.

A young carefree guy. He likes to relax neatly under a clear blue sky. He is a childhood friend of Farah and Keel. He is a swordsman, can also use axes. He can be passionate and dedicated when he wants to, but he's usually lazy and craving for food.

Farah Oersted
Age: 17
Weight: 46 Kg
Height: 161 Cm (5' 4")
Class: Fighter
Childhood friend of Rid and Keel. She tends to get easily angry when her peers are not fully devoted to the goal. She hates abuse of any kind and tends to take things overboard when handling those situations she dislikes. She is a fighter with a strong sense of justice.

Meredy
Age: 16
Weight: 45 Kg
Height: 157 Cm (5' 2")
Class: Mage
A young Celestian that came from Celestia itself like a meteor. At first she is unable to communicate with Rid and Farah who find her. After having Keel make it possible for them to communicate they set out in search of finding out Meredy's origin as she is connected with the Grand Fall. She is a magic user. Along her comes a blue creature known as Quickie.

Height: 174 Cm (5' 8")
Class: Mage
A bookworm type of nerd. He is a magic user and also a scholar. He likes learning about the unknown and other interesting abnormal things. She is accompanied by a small blue creature called Quickie.

Class: Mage
A Celestian whose father is a famous pirate known as Aifread. Not much is known about her or her goals.

Fog

Height: 185 Cm (6' 2")
Class: Gunner
A strong kind man who uses an Elemental Gun. He's a Celestian and the leader of Shileska. He laughs a lot and doesn't know the consequences of his actions.

A simple swordsman. He was sent out originally to stop Rid and the party from going to Celestia. Not much is also known about this guy.
