This game was released in Japan on the PS2. So far it is a Japan only game and there doesn't seem to be much of chance for this game to be released in the U.S. This game is a direct sequel to Tales of Destiny and takes place 18 years after the end of Tales of Destiny.

The son of Stahn and Rutee. He is very much like Stahn and he always dreams of adventering. An optimistic boy, his main drive in the game is to get Reala to call him her hero.

Weapons: Poleaxes
Kyle's adoptive older brother. They grew up together in the same orphanage created by Rutee. Loni is a huge brother figure to Kyle and a close friend of his. Loni is overprotective of Kyle and worries about his recklessness.

Reala
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Height: 155 Cm (5' 2")
Weight: 41 Kg
Weapons: Staves, Rods
A mysterious girl that Kyle and Loni come across. When Kyle and Loni find a huge Lens, it explodes and Reala emerges from it. She leaves them behind and repeats that she is searchng for her hero. Kyle, thinking that because he is the son of the hero Stahn, declares himself her hero. She easily rejects him but Kyle is determined to gain her recognition.

Judas

A mysterious, dark masked man who comes to Kyle's aid. After coming to their aid twice he joins their party. When Judas tells him names are meaningless in battle, Kyle calls him Judas. He wears a mask because he doesn't want to show his face after the crime he had regretted to commit.

Nanaly Fletch
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Height: 160 Cm (5' 3")
Weight: 49 Kg
Weapons: Bows, Arrows
A women whom the party meets after being sent to the future. She helps them travel back to their timeline after befriending them. Her brother had died of an inevitable illness but she remains a strong kind women. She and Loni don't get along well when they first meet.

Harold Belserius
Age: 23
Height: 149 Cm (5' 0")
Weight: 35 Kg
Weapons: Staves, Rods and a dagger/knife
A powerful flirtatious mage. She's an intelligent professor who is said to be one of the scientists who created the Swordians long ago. She is from the past, 1000 years ago.

So far, there is an illustration gallery within the game that contains new official art of major characters met in the game. Also, the old Hi Ougi cut-ins have been replaced by the new ones similar to the style used in Destiny Remake. Also, there will be more cameo matches in Destiny 2, featuring Woodrow, Philia, Rutee and Lilith instead of just Rimule alone. As an addition, they will each use their Hi Ougis in the cameos. The bosses like Barbatos and Elraine also get new Hi Ougi cut-ins.
