Okay, so these "Enchants" are really confusing me. What exactly are they and what do they do? And how do I use/set them?

There are two enchants. Passive and Active. Passive occurs anytime if you use the enchant, but you have to activate action enchants on your own. Extensions are the last option in the action enchant menu. To activate an action enchant, hold the attack button. You will need the necessary amount of SP and TP to perform it.
You can set them both in the "Enchant" window once you fulfill the requirements.
