Title: Recommended PS2 or Gamecube Games?

I have just beaten FFXII (wow, the ending was so sad :sob: but it's a really cool game) and now I have an urgent urge to play some other videogame. The kind of game I'm looking for had to be on the PS2 or the Gamecube, has to not be a turned based system (the battle system has to be where the characters run around and whack the enemy and stuff, not that Golden Sun type of stuff :/ ) Also the characters have to be appealing I dun want to be controlling ugly people lol. And the stoyrline has to be fun as well. SO any suggestions?

If you just finished FFXII, Rogue Galaxy might be right up your alley. No need fr me to explain just trust me ;)

Baten Kaitos or Baten Kaitos Origins. (GCN)
Baten Kaitos is more of turn based game than Origins. But I just like Origins better.
But believe me, once you get more into the game, the battles get faster, and it won't feel like it's turn based.

Rouge Galaxy if you liked FFXII. It did the pirate story a lot better and is more fun. Also Skies Of Arcadia and Disgaea 1 or 2.

Valkyre Profile 2 is pretty good. I just started playing, but so far, it's pretty good.

You should probably look into Rouge Galaxy and VP2(Valkrie Profile 2)
Also get Twighlight Princess for the GC if you don't have the Wii.

Another Bandai Namco game, it's you playing as a character who is playing in MMORPG =P
You only get one-third of the story so far, but it's still good for about 30 hrs of gameplay...
Supposedly, the next volume comes out in the summer >_>

Mostly PS2 games here, but...
DARK... CLOUD... 2... Definately. Avoid the first if you feel like it.
Could try the Jak series as well.
Shadow of the Collosus. Very pretty and fighting the Collosi is very fun.
Kingdom Hearts if you feel like it. First one more than the second.
Metal Gear Solid 2 and 3 if you like sneaking around.
Atelier Iris if you feel like going for Turn-Based anyway. I myself am trying to avoid Turn-based, but I find AI fun and interesting anyway. Despite battle improvements, I've heard the first is better than the second. Haven't heard anything about the third though.
There's also the Nippon Ichi SRPGs, if that ever gets your fancy.

The type of game you're asking for is mainly Tales. I suggest you go far and beyond and just import a few Tales game. Tales is always import-friendly. Well...at a semi-level, yes. XD
