has anyone heard of it? it's VERY good, though i may be overeacting at the moment, seeing as how i'm only 1 episode in. so, has anyone heard of it?

i have a question about it for anyone who's seen the whole thing: what order should i watch it in? i heard there's a non-chronological order and a chronological order...

Watch it in non-chronological, then watch it again chronologicly. The series is worth watching twice and more.

Okay, let's clear it up then.
The so called Episode 1 you watched is actually chranologically episode 11.
Watch it by what it's actually listed by (what Kyon says).

oh, i see!!! so, for example, if Kyon says 3 and Suzumiya says 7, episode 3 would be non-chronological while episode 7 would be chronological. right?

Correct. Watch it in Kyon's order first.
(Why did Kyon mix up the episodes and not Haruhi...?)

Well, I saw too the "1st episode" and I thought it was the hell funny! XD But the one that comes after that one is the REAL 1st episode, isn't it?
Edit: Here it is! The real order to watch Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu is 2,3,5,10,13,14,4,7,6,8,1,12,11,9!

Thanks! I was so confused when i watched it!!! That's really helpful, and once I'm done with the series, i guess i'll watch it chronologically!!! :D
