Yuri comes from a family of healers, though she left the path to train in the arts of using her body as a weapon. She left her family at the age of 10 to learn the ways of the Martial Artists. She carries with her, at all times, her family's insigna. Many people know of the Kantoko priests, and thus the aknowledge Yuri's passing through as a pilgramige on behalf of the Kantoko's ways.

Mad because of Yuri's running away, Joshua Riaul (A cloe friend of Yuri's father) has been hunting down the girl for years. Ever devout on his chase, Yuri manages to avoid him, no matter what.

Yuri has a serious, down-to-earth and kind personality. She's almost always willing the help out, unless of corse it's for the pain or greif of others. Most people of the towns rush to her to get her to aid them, thus she has almost no time on her own. For this reason Yuri only stops at small towns and tries to avoid the bigger ones.
