Well, it could be just me, but I feel that Phantasia has been left out of the loop...the remakes on PSP and PSX were great, but not good enough. The PSP version should have used better sprites, and the battle system should have been upgraded, but it's the same as the PSX version...basically. -__-;

Who agrees with me? ._. I think a Phantasia remake Destiny style would be badass.

If it has a battle system other than the one it has now, then I'd love it. ToP really deserves a better remake.

Yeah I agree. I hate it when the summons and spells interupt the battle. They should've changed that. More anime scenes and back flip. (Guard + Back). And I wanted hi-ougis for the other characters. :(

AT LEAST make it again with TOD1-2 graphics same sprites then it will PWN because i hate there stupid lego figures like FF7 but there chibi FF7 chars T.T which sucks

hmmm...only thing that comes to mind for me is to upgrade the battle system at least a LITTLE bit

They used PSX/ND3 sprites combined. @_@; I would prefer ND3 sprites. XD And I wanted a battle system similar to Eternia or something that doesn't pause the screen the ENTIRE time during a high spell.

Cuz so far, all the Phantasia remakes are all 2D. [and my brain doesn't work 2D anymore, thanks to the next gen games.] Why couldn't the Tales team remake Phantasia 3D??

I agree, and I want to say: remake it a little bit more. It seems they're kind of 'lazy' to remake it. Just think, it will be awesome if they remake it with Destiny PS2 style! XD

Yes, a Phantasia remake just like what they did with Destiny, except more refined. Destiny somewhat dissapointed me for the lack of techs for the people who weren't as l33t as Stahn. ;>_> (Dang punk had elemental techniques of almost every type...)

And and...new cut-ins!! I want cut-ins for Phantasia characters. T_T And of course, Hi Ougis.

I want that Destiny 2 PSP cut-in style for Phantasia. New hi-ougis too... and, about the skits; I think the Destiny's emotional card chat (or maybe Destiny 2's screen chat) is the best :lol:

i argee with you 100% sunny on that me and my friend were talking about how they could of remade this so much better infact it was because of this why i'm learning how to use C++ which is what namco uses to make tales games i also argee that they should of used the nd3 sprites combined with toe's battle style

I like to see bunch of anime (not CG movies) in Tales games. Well, since there's a Phantasia OVA; there will be nothing 'new' or 'surprises' if they include anime in the newest Phantasia remake (if so).

But, it's better to include an anime cut-scene than none XD

meh, whe phantasia was remade for psx, even if it got better, it lost some charm - 3- and the psp remake was so lazy aside the voice acting (I won't talk about the GBA one xDD)

The thing is that it's got the anime, and all the voice acting in the psp version, I'd like a remake with a lot of changes and somewhat improved story (it's starting to get repeptitive for fans who have played the snes game and the remakes) but it's very difficult to change things after 4 games with basically the same thing.

If they had decided to make the psx remake after tales of eternia... it would have been soooo great (they made the first remake too soon) O___O

Compare the orginal SFC version to the PSX version. It was a pretty good upgrade. I rather ToP stay how it is. The old style Tales charm of it is why I shelled out money to get all 4 versions of the game and beat them all.
