Title: Consoles - Your support?
Sunny - April 15, 2007 02:53 AM (GMT)
So far, I'm with the Nintendo Wii on this war. Nintendo has been my all time favorite by sticking to original, addicting games, that are humorous in their own way - not trying to appeal us with flashy hoo-hahs and realitsic stuff. Plus, they've got Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Fire Emblem, Animal Crossing and Pokemon franchises coming ONTO the Wii! Not only that, but using the Virtual Console and some cash, you can get oldschool games 5-10$ each! How can it get any better?! It's already sold 6.5 million units...this is what I love.
What console do you guys support?

I don't have any of the new console yet, but I tried the Wii of one of my friends, and it was really quite fun (I beat him and the others that were there in Bowling on my first try XD). And I love how you can access the Internet with the Wii...
But I'm a little cautious since I've grown into a huge RPG fan (I blame Symphonia >.>) and considering which console the Tales Games have been...

Well, Sword of Legendia is on the Wii, it's unknown whether it's a spin-off or not. And rumors have it that some Tales are being made into the PS3...so maybe Tales is emphasizing more on Sony. =*(
Well...Sony DOES need games besides Metal Gear, Final Fantasy and...whatever it has on it.

I love the Wii and all, and I am a huge Nintendo fan, but there's none of the games I'm interested in besides Brawl and the Virtual Console.
So far on my list of what I'm looking forward to on the Wii:
Super Smash Bros. Brawl
(Virtual Console) Earthbound
(Virtual Console) Tetris Attack/Panel de Pon
Fire Emblem: Goddess of Dawn
So, I guess the Wii gets my support. More than the other consoles, at least.

Xbox 360 in my books.
Ever since Guitar Hero 2 came out for it I haven't touched my Wii or PS3 XD.
And I can't wait for Devil May Cry 4.

Wow, you have all 3 systems! I'm so envious.

I have to agree actually. Twilight Princess and Wii Play as well as Wii Sports had me going for a while. Super Paper Mario just came out, but I didn't get it. I can't wait for the Fire Emblem/Pokemon/Animal Crossing and SSBB to come though.

Hard for me to choose, right now I have the Wii and the Xbox360(and its only a matter of time before i get the PS3)
But yeah, i lost intrest in the PS3 after I heard that Devil May Cry 4 is coming out on the 360, but so far I'm with the Wii all the way!
Also everyone keep in mind that if that idiot bill gates released Halo3 on the same day that the PS3 came out, absolutley NO ONE would have a PS3! Just thought I'd point that out. :D

BEST. SONG. EVER
At least for Anti-PS3-ers:

Step 1, you make your console cost the most. You beat your chest and proudly boast. Despite no good, exclusive games, You make a bunch of ridiculous claims. Then ignore our need to play online. Don't make it fun, like Xbox Live! Use Blue-Ray, which I don't need. Now you're getting your ass kicked by the Wii!
Sony, you went wrong, with your PS3. I'll just keep playing my 360. Hope this song has helped you understand. Now you know, How You Killed Your Brand.
Phil Harrison, yeah, you know best, Except you didn't Beta Test. Sure, I can surf the net, But I can't find my gaming friends. You say Halo 3 don't worry you, Instead you offer Killzone 2. But Killzone 1 sucked before! So what made you think we wanted more?

Phil Harrison (approximation): On Playstation, what we have done successfully over the last twelve or thirteen years is to...uh...uh...it's got to be...um...uh...uh...We're gonna do some things a little differently to...um...uh...um...uh...um...(you get the idea)...I don't have any comment to make...

Interviewer: Yeah, so one question, real quick. A lot of players say that they want to be able to play online without jumping through a bunch of hoops. Do you have any plans to make the Playstation 3 not suck as much when you go to play someone else online? Phil Harrison: We know that that's a compelling feature for...um...certain players in certain...uh...certain segments of the audience...um...but, as to specific plans or...um...features, I don't have any comment to make. |
Tune is to "How to save a life" by the Fray (took me sometime to remember what the original was called <.<)

I've been a Nintendo fanboy since I was lil, so, yeah, Wii. xD Some 360 stuff looks good, but I'm not out on my own as of yet and've got a young nephew living here, so it'd be a little hard to work in M games, anyway.
So far this has been more of a handheld generation, though, for me. I've played ToP PSP and MMZX more than anything lately.
I'm not one of those "why is thar not moar Tales on teh Cube?! D:" types by any means, but it is kind of interesting to think of the possibility of Wii getting some Tales since Namco usually goes with the most successful hardware. Only thing I worry about, then, is the controller.

That song is so true  I love how Sony thought that they could sell many systems like the PS3 at that price

After the ToS sequel announcement and MP3 awesomeness. Its Wii for me.
