Because I'm going to Anime North this weekend, I was wondering if people were going to conventions this year, and if people cosplay?

Anime North

One of the guests is Johnny Yong Bosch, the VA for Guy from Tales of the Abyss and Cress/Cless in Tales of Phantasia OVA.

I don't go to conventions. xD

Yeah, I'm going to Anime North on Saturday and Sunday, but unfortunately since I didn't have a lot of time due to exams and summatives I couldn't make a costume... But I'm hoping to take a lot of pictures and purchase a lot of game/anime goods!

I think I'll try to meet Bosch, and if I recall, Natalia's VA will be there as well. The creator of VG Cats will be guesting there. My friend's really excited about that.

I'm all there for the merchandise first day. Events the second day. I have a small duty tomorrow... Gotta help take some of the cosplay club members to AN, since it's so far. Ah well, time to fulfill my role as Vice president of the Cosplay club... *runs from president*

The only convention I am going to sometime soon is the AFO, because it's in out horrid state of Florida.

Our Anime Club never managed to really kick off last year, and I was one of the only ones who went. We didn't even go as a club.

I said I wasn't going as anything in my last post... I wonder if I saw you there though. XD I was there on Friday and Saturday.

Overall it was alright... it definitely wasn't as good as last year. It sucked a lot when they wouldn't let people upstairs for a long time. The concerts were meh, but some of the events were interesting to watch. I bought some merchandise.. got myself an Axel and Ion figure, some fanart and some other things. The cosplayers looked nice as well. There isn't much else to say right now.. too tired... got home at 3 a.m... anyways, enjoy the pictures. And no, I won't organize them into catagories.. because of the ORIGINAL high resolution it took hours to upload.

For the past few years of my life, I've never missed an Animethon (Edmonton Anime Convention)... I'm sad that I'll miss it this year because I'm going to China ;_;...

That sucks, Lyrrad. Better get something good out of China.

I saw all the people you saw, Bunnywisk. My digital camera was missing (actually my sister lost it in Europe -_-) and I was using a video camera to record. However, some of my footage is going to get overwritten, which will suck.
What events did you go to? I saw the Dance Contest, and the first half of Anime Hell.

Bah, there weren't many events for us. I ended up watching anime, shopping, meeting cosplayers, buying fanart. My friend and I did DDR afterwards though. XD I'm glad I can still dance after a few months. I saw a late dance on Saturday. =P I went to more events last year... this year in my opinion still sucks compared to it. I wanted to see a karaoke contest this year. Yesterday's concert wasn't that great as well. >_>

I'll still go next year though... except next year we'll have a hotel room... WAY too far to travel. XD

I can't cos our cons tend to be crappy and miles away from me. Europe isn't big on anime.

We have local anime conventions here, which they mix with a game con, toy con, manga con, etc. con... Lemme search for pics at Photobucket...
