Big Bang Beat is a doujin fighting game based off the hentai game Big Bang Age, like Melty Blood was based off of a hentai game. It plays kind of like Guilty Gear, only with Hokuto no Ken style boosts and a Samurai Showdown style spirit meter. It was released last month. It's worth giving a try if you're interested in fighting games. No netplay so far.

Yes. YES. This is indeed very excellent to play. The music is nice, from what I've heard, and the fighting is dead on, fast, and extremely fun. The idea of cancelling and extending combos to high levels is nice, as I've never actually tried a game with that feature. Difficulty on normal is good for me as well, making it playable.
I should think about getting the full version sometime.

With the trial, I find it interesting to just go into training and set the computer to CPU control. With only one person to actually fight, this is actually quite fun, although it's good to take a break from such a thing, lest your senses leave you completely. I should try this on some of my other fighters.

Get the full version, the characters in it are pretty cool. Like the twins, and the boxer dude. Also Heita.
