Download mIRC here. Install it, and then open the program. First of all, ignore the "Trial" thing when you first open it. Just press continue, even if it expires, you can still use it. Just wait for the "Continue" to be clickable.


Next, fill up the following:
Full Name: This is not important. But please remember it when you fill it out.
E-Mail Address: For you guys, it's unnecessary. For me, it is.
Nickname: This is your displayed name in mIRC, it's important that you get the name you want.
Alternate: You don't have to fill it out, but if someone is using your nickname on the same server, then you cannot use it.


BEFORE YOU CLICK CONNECT TO SERVER!
Go to the left of the window. There should be a bullet point titled "Servers". Click on it, and then scroll down to the server titled "Dynasty Net. Click on Dynasty Net and then click on Random server. The servers are listed in alphabetical order, so don't worry about finding it. After that, THEN you click on Connect to Server.


Going to a Channel
Obviously, you should know that a "Channel" is a chatroom. After you connect to Dynasty Net, a new window pops open asking you what channel you want to go to. Fill in the Channel Name on the space provided: Majinken

And bingo, you are in!

For some reason, my computer has had troubles connecting to any IRC channels, so you won't see me on until I figure out what's the problem.
Glad to see Majinken now has an IRC channel.

Edit: Okay, I have a problem with your guide. For your step for choosing a server, you said I should be able to scroll down. However, what appears on my screen is a blank box, asking me to enter in servers. So um... what's the exact name of the server?

No one's on... oh well, that's 'prolly because no one is on on the forums to read this topic. XD
