edit: LLoyds voice is different senels is the same from his game have yet to hear from the destiny guys so far the skill name's are the same

The English version has an instruemtal opening.

There are no new characters playable. That was just a misinformed reporter saying random things.

Anything that was voiced in the Japanese version is voiced in the English version.

Fuzzy replied on the Tales Forums that he decided the name "Demon Attack" because many newcomers to the series would not understand the reference behind "Marian". He also thought to pay homage to the first localization of ToD and retain the name. Although, Fuzzy did mention that he had a difficult time deciding the name and maybe his choice was not the best.

I'm sure you can still find his response somewhere on the tales forum.

I was a newcomer to the Tales series once, and I was wondering why Majinken was called Demon Fang. I can't really see how it resembles a demon's fang. Tiger Blade, can someone explain that one? Falcon's Crest, I see no relation to a Falcon.

So I don't see why Marian wouldn't have been accepted.

I'm not very good at arguing and I don't like it that much but just to point out...

I'm sure you know Majinken is 'Demon God Sword'

So translated to Demon Fang makes some sense
Let me put it this way when Japanese people saw it they would also think "I don't see the 'Ma' part of this".

Kogahazan translates to 'Tiger Fang Break Slash'

So I could see how it's gets translated to Tiger Blade.

Tenshou Shouhazan I have no idea how it became 'Falcon's Crest'. I'm not even going to try and defend that.

Marian translates to "Demon Person Darkness"
So I can see the Demon part in the translation (once again the 'Ma')

I'm not saying 'Demon Attack' is a great name. By all means I think it's terrible and Fuzzy made a mistake. I would have much rather have heard Leon say "Marian". Although I don't find it quite fair to rant about Majinken and Kogahazan. The localization team was making an effort in putting an accurate translation instead of throwing something random (i.e. Psi Blade).

If you're really mad about it, I suggest you go tell Fuzzy (Peter) on the 'Tales of' forums. The fan consensus matters to them so every person they hear from will make a difference.

I know the Japanese names and their literal translations. I just used that as a point to complain "Why not use Marian?"
