It's A Wonderful World is Square-Enix's totally unique JRPG released today for the DS. Plotwise, Neku Sakuraba is forced to take part in "Death's Game", which he must win in 7 days, or be removed from existence. Along the way he meets other people involved in the Game, the first of which being a girl called Shiki.

Gameplay wise, you wander around the streets of shibuya reading minds with Neku's psychic powers, and battling "Noise", the game's enemies. Battles use both screens at once with Neku on the bottom screen and your partner on the top. Neku is controlled with the touch screen whilst your partner is controlled with the D-Pad with DDR-style arrow commands. Neku can do all sorts of stuff, from telekinetically throwing objects to punching Noise, firing energy bolts and shooting lighting and all sorts of other upgradable skills he can earn. Your top screen partners use similar commands but have different styles of attacking. One of them has a cat to attack with, one uses a mobile phone, another uses cards.

The music and presentation are top notch, with loads of people milling about the streets of Shibuya, great 2D art for the enviroment and brilliant music.

Certainly worth buying if it gets a localisation, which is likely.

It looks pretty cool. Might be kinda confusing at times though.
