By "original", I mean that almost every character uses the same skills for Tales, right? I'm sure every main character but Kyle knows Majinken.

So who do you think has the most original movelist? So far, I only thought of:

- Fog, who uses a gun. Which makes sense why no one ever copies him.
- Suzu-chan, a ninja. Shihna's also a ninja, but she uses a different weapon.

...Also, villains that uses the same Artes are heros don't count. So Kuchinawa doesn't overrule Suzu's originality. XD

There's probably people from Rebirth too, but I never play far enough.

Kuchinawa is pretty original as he only took 2 attacks from Suzu, while the rest of his style is his own...plus he's got that Guard Break combo. :'D

I would say Veigue, Eugene and Tytree. Veigue is the only hero to use purely ice techs. Eugene has a huge variety of unique spear techniques and Jade has two of them. And Tytree's got his own fighter techs.

Weapons wise, I think Anise and Arietta take the cake for the dolls. Original movelist...just like Sunny said, the Rebirth group. I'll edit this post later when I do a little research and remember what other characters are original...

But Arietta uses Magic, and never really uses her dolls, asides from the part of Evil Light...

Presea's also an original one, only Beast was sto- copied.

Mary never had any of Presea's moves though. And Presea's "Beast" is not Beast at all. I still don't like how they translated it the same as the other Beast.

Correct. Presea's Beast is translated into Shikou Metsuruyusen. The original Beast is translated into Shishisenkou. [/ToSnerd]

Anyways, what Arel said: Mary isn't all that original. She has a couple of Loni's techniques from ToD2 in the remake and she also shares Kagerou with Woodrow. I still think she should have used Presea's Hien Messhoujin has a 3rd Blast Calibur. =[

Well, we could hope for that in the Director's Cut version...
