Well I told Sunny I was gonna post info on the game since I got a ROM of it.

Here's the story

Shortly after K1te fount it I found the ROM and downloaded it my self and for the record. DO NOT ask me for the ROM! I downloaded it only because I already bought the game and it will be a while before my copy comes in. Use Google find the game your self please.

Anyway i'm about oh two or so hours in I guess? Keep in mind I might post spoilers.

Party members.

Ruca: He's very how can I say this...naive? He seems to be really shy and unlike Luke (Comparing him to Luke since he was the last main hero.) he's no where near as annoying as he was. Battle wise Ruca is really fun to use think Rid mixed with Luke. He learns Majinken rather early (Obviously), is very fast like Rid and has plenty of Tempest variations from the looks of it. He has a few of the buffs Luke had (Such as Coil.) Anyway Ruca is really fun to use I think people will enjoy using him.

Iria: I love her so far! She has this spunky attitude yet it seems she can be rather serious at times. Battle wise they're isn't anybody like her...ever. The first playable gunner and she is really fun to use! She doesn't play like the archers in the series so don't think that. Shes really unique and fun. Iria gets Piko and gets self healing really early (like level five.) and like I said she's fun to use I sometimes find my self switching from Ruca to her.

Plot

Plots well... it reminds me more of ToR if anything but that may just be me. It's your typical start to a J-RPG. Main hero wakes up and goes to eat (Ruca's favorite food is Chesse Soup by the way!) and he runs into some girl WHO IS GETTING CHASED BY THE CHRUCH LOLZ after all that the adventure starts and well i'm still to early into to say anything more. Although I did do some research and fount this out. Be warned this is a huge spoiler and may not be 100% true at the moment.



[spoiler=Spoilers]To be short. Ruca and Iria are gods, gods are sent down to earth in a more human form and either Ruca or Iria are meant to be Asura. Keep in mind this isn't a 100% as of yet.[/spoiler]

True. but Fog was more of a mage who used a gun rather then somebody who actually shot bullets through they're gun.

Fog doesn't really count as a gunner since well, he just doesn't suit it. xD Anyways, NICE information Atlas! Keep this stuff going. O:

Ugh dammit the ROM keeps crashing during the first cut scene with Spada.

Hopefully a better version of the ROM will be up soon.

maybe you should wait until the game is actually released first. leaked roms are very likely to be buggy.

Max is a gunner regarless altho i'm glad there are more gunners now i just wanna hear sparda ^^ he' so cooooolo and ricardo ^^ i wonder why is pow hammer a trademark in tales lol

Almost everything is a trademark.

Especially Majinken. The only game it DOESN'T appear in is Destiny 2. The Tales Heroes seem to poke fun at Kyle for that reason...

I thought Veigue's Majinken isn't exactly Majinken.

My copy shipped and a better ROM is out so i'm gonna hunt it down.

Anybody know of a possible way to capture videos for teh DS or i'm I gonna have to video cam it?

It is, actually. It's just that you use a skill that uses Majinken instead if you equip a certain object.

Pretty damn good. Good job Atlas.

I'm still waiting for my copy (grrr...) but I'll give my first impressions.
Despite the faulty rom, I'm very impressed. Sound and graphics are great, with only minor clarity issues. But very good voice acting of all the DS games I've heard so far. In battle, you might find yourself getting hit quite often before your guard gets up on time. I haven't had a chance to try Wireless Mode, but when I do, I'll write up a review.

Some of you might not believe it, but I was informed by my friend (who has an odd habit of searching up codes before he even owns the game -_-) that this game already has cheats on it...
Man, this game is popular! I mean, it's already been hacked before the release date! :P

on the rom i have to mash a to skip the intro otherwise it freezes up. hopefully there should be a patch for it.

good game though regardless, best ds rpg out right now.

Fighting a boss you can either lose or win against, it proceeds with the storyline. But fighting him on Mania is really hard! One combo = Dead teammate. I'm not moving until I can kill him! *Is level 14*

just turn the difficulty down for that one fight, unless you really like level grinding

I grinded to level 15, and gave Iria a huge ATK boost, Hit Man did not stand a chance. At all.

Then the first time I fought the big robot, I did a 419 Combo, which start as soon as I got hit once, and kept attacking him till he died. :P

I find it easier to combo in this than any other Tales game. Maybe it's just experience, or just enemies are ridiculously easy to stagger.
Did anyone figure out how wireless mode works yet?

It's a multiplayer mode... Same as normal Tales multiplayer mode... Not laggy at all.. but just cannot use infinity jam in this mode... You can do guild missions together.. and you can split the reward... *choose which one to affect after disconnect*

I'm guessing your friends need ToI as well, right?

*sigh* Well, good thing I have the M3 and a real copy of it.

yup... Need friends with a copy of it... *Trying to get 3 skills to lvl 15 so I can get Innocence Style* I hope the hiougis look cool...

Anyway, does anyone know what to do when you arrive Northern Country of Tenos? I just go there, and viewed a scene of Ruca and Hermana in front of a building, and now I am lost.
