Title: Memerable characters...?
Pink Mystic - February 2, 2007 05:25 AM (GMT)
I haven't played this game yet, seeing as I do not own a DS [but I will be attempting to get one]. I am just wondering, in this 10 hour RPG, are there any memerable characters at all? I mean when I played Symphonia, Lloyd and Zelos left some marks on my gaming left, as did Luke, Guy, and Jade from Abyss.

I don't think any of us owns Tempest. I was thinking about it...until I heard the critical facts.

Caius looks like a memorable character. But that's based off of looks. I know there is a translation of the script somewhere...

^ Hey, if you find the translations, could you post it here, so we could all read it to judge who is more memorable?

I'd say Albert Mueller. He looks unique and cool. If Tempest was refined or delayed (for improvement), I would have probably liked him a lot.

I played the game, finished in 17 hours loosing a lot of time in the worldmap and I can say without doubt (well, in my opinion) that NO ONE is memerable.
why? because they're given so little time to 'act' in this game that their backstory and personalities aren't enough develloped, when you finish the game, maybe next week you've forgotten some of them . even Albert. That's why they fall in previous personalities seen in other tales;
Caius is Kyle2
Arria and Rubia are simmilar- Rubia has got a farah side when she tells caius things about the past, but other than that they're little Mints for me, less shy and that stuff
Tilkis is a less hyper Zelos
Forest is Eugene2
Don't get me wrong, Tales of the Tempest started good for me, but when you realise it's the end and you still wanted to hear A LOT MORE from the characters... And you don't get to explore the entire worldmap! just like legendia but more limited. (yes, even more)
oh, Rommy and Lukius are lame.. I'd like to talk about lukius but it would be spoilers X_X
the ending makes me think of tales of the tempest 2 xD but I'd rather like an eternia-ish new tales for the DS than a sequel of this mini-tales.

I own it.
Tilkis was the only person I really liked.

That tells us a lot. XD Not very impressive, but I'm sure the game is amusing at least...
