The Heat reportedly has spoken to the Portland Trail Blazers about a potential trade for troubled forward Qyntel Woods, who is suspended from the team because of allegations of animal abuse and staging dog fights at his home.
Trail Blazers General Manager John Nash told The Oregonian that the Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers have contacted him, but nothing is imminent.

I had him on Fantasy Basketball, I just cut him. What a loser, some players just never get their act together. I feel no sympathy for him, and wouldn't mind if he never succeeded. Guys like that just aren't respected by many. Other guys in his situation:
Vin Baker. Keon Clark.

I can remember reading about him before he was drafted. Supposedly, people were claiming that he was a poor man's Magic Johnson.
Well, it looks like "Magic" just got cut. LOL!

didnt the wolves sign eddie griffin?..........
qwntel wont get very far... this animal mistreatment thing will take alot of time to get over... and to think he had so much potential....
same thing with vin baker... alcoholism pushed his career down the drain...

lets hope eddie can turn his career around in minnesota...
the way i see it, if KG cant turn a troubled player around, theres no use for him in the league anymore....
