Title: W@Q@$'s T0p 10
Waqas - May 5, 2005 02:49 AM (GMT)
10. Tracy McGrady: Has been posterizing people a foot larger than him, and it just a monster. When he shoots it, all you see is swish! Amazing player offensively, and even plays defense. Fearless All-Star is he...
9. Dwayne Wade: The Flash has been EVERYWHERE. He even hit a pass off Vince Carter, and had a layup! Very intelligent and versatile guy.
8. Andre Miller: Hit a half-court shot off the backboard! Amazing individual play, even though his heroics might not do much.
7. San Antonio Spurs vs. Denver Nuggets: Not much scoring, but Ginobli hit 10-13 FTs, and 10-21 overall. Had 31 points. Even had a long trey! Tim Duncan had a horrible game, though, even with foul trouble.
6. Dallas Mavericks vs. Houston Rockets: A great series. After an early deficit, 2-0, with both losses at Houston, Dallas could be swept, but they never gave up. The Mavs won the next 3 games, and have the lead, 3-2. Very amazing and impressive.
5. Miami Heat vs. New Jersey Nets: Vince Carter hit a shot that bounced back in the rim, forcing overtime. But through these heroics, the Heat win, and eventually swept the Nets, 4-0.
4. Ben Gordon, Sixth Man: A way to reward both rookies. A very good Sixth Man on Chicago. Probably their best player. A solid boost off the bench.
3. Emeka Okafor, Rookie of the Year: He deserved it, with 16 PPG and 11 RPG. Very great forward, and I'm sure he will be better with Charlotte next season. Narrowly took out Ben Gordon of Chicago.
2. Van Gundy's Fine: Why not talk about that secret referee in private, and not go all public about it? $100,000, double the record for a coach.
1. Washington Wizards vs. Chicago Bulls: Henrich of the Bulls misses both free throws, but gets the offensive rebound. Then passes to a wide-open Bull, and that player scores a trey. But to Gilbert Arenas, that means nothing. He has a one-on-one vs. Hinrich, and has a freethrow jumper, in at the buzzer.

GoSonics206 - May 6, 2005 03:16 AM (GMT)
Or maybe it's just an open-ended top 10 everything related to basketball.

Andre Miller above Dwyane Wade? Dwyane Wade is only the seventh player in NBA history to average 25 points, 8 assists, 6 rebounds and shoot at least 50 percent in a playoff series. The others were Oscar Robertson, Wilt Chamberlain, Bob Cousy, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson and Michael Jordan.
Come on..

Kinda funny that he brings up the half-court shot. How's that better then Wades stats?
GoSonics206 - May 8, 2005 06:27 AM (GMT)
Waqas, how long have you been a basketball fan?
Waqas - May 8, 2005 05:49 PM (GMT)
Well, I was running out of ideas, and I had to go to bed soon, so I just did that. And it's just something to keep these forums interesting. In a couple of days I'll do another one ;).
GoSonics206 - May 9, 2005 12:23 AM (GMT)
Answer me, Waqas. How long have you been an active basketball fan?
Waqas - May 9, 2005 01:02 AM (GMT)
3-4 Years?
Those first few years, I was more of just watching the Mavs play, rather than caring about stats, players, etc. I was more interesting in just watching them play. But since a couple of years ago, I've become more interested in Dirk and all those other teams.
