Title: Coach of the Year

Waqas - May 9, 2005 10:43 PM (GMT)
It's Mike D'Antoni. What do you guys think? In the press, he said that it's been a nice run, and signing Nash in July was the main reason for winning the award.

I think Scott Skiles, Nate McMillian or Rick Carsile should have gotten it.

I agree with Sealy. The additions of the league MVP, Steve Nash and Q-Richardson is why the Suns are where they are right now. Mike is a great coach but he's not the coach of the year.

As i belive i like Dantoni' but I think the most underrated coach in the NBA should get it Rick Carlisle, this guy has done something he has had numerous diffrent starting line-ups dealt with injuries suspensions, fines, more injuries, the BRAWL, this guy has done something w/o their defensive guy Artest they made it to the #6 seed after ppl say they wouldnt make the playoffs, and now they are in the 2nd round, its Rick Carlisle no question to me about it Rick C. good job!

I also like Scotty Skiles what he did w/ the youngsters was impressive.

I thought you left? Not making a big deal just wondering.

Why is the COTY? Hell, give me Nash, Stoudemire, Marion, and Q-Dogg and I'll get you into the playoffs. The real COTY is Nate McMillan. He has pretty much the same roster as last year, and he really turned them around.

Nobody is giving credit to Rick Carlisle you should.

GoSonics206 - May 10, 2005 02:21 AM (GMT)
Carlisle did a great job through all of the turmoil that was the Pacers this season, but I really think it should have gone to my man Nate McMillan. We have the same roster as last year, minus Brent Barry and plus Danny Fortson, and we won about 20 more games and managed to snatch the third seed despite preseason predictions of being one of the worst teams in the league. Just goes to show how underrated we are.

Im just wondering does anybody have any consideration to George Karl I know that he hasnt done much besides having the best recored after the All-Star break, but I wont give it.
