Title: Playoff Moment
ballorama. - May 17, 2005 10:23 PM (GMT)
Okay I want ppl to tell their favorite playoff moment and/or game. and why.
I have 1 game and 1 moment
the game.
Game 6 of the 1998 NBA Finals- MJ made an jumper to win Game 6 and the series
Bulls @ Jazz
the moment.
Game 5 of the 2004 Western Conference Semi-Finals
Lakers @ Spurs- When Derek Fisher made the fadeaway/clutch jumper with .4 of a seconed left to win the game 74-73

A lot of great moments but the two best are when the Wolves finally got out of the first round and then Game 7 vs. the Kings. All last year, the first time Wolves advanced in the playoffs. Greatest moments ever.
ballorama. - May 18, 2005 12:06 AM (GMT)
yeah that game was incredible they took over it.
GoSonics206 - May 18, 2005 01:16 AM (GMT)
I was gonna say the Derek Fisher shot.
procedius - May 18, 2005 04:20 AM (GMT)
my favorite playoff moment is when the Hawks beat the Celtics.
detroit223 - May 18, 2005 05:18 AM (GMT)
I have alot but these are the ones that come off the top of my head:
When Rasheed gauranteed Game 2 last year.
Tayshaun's block of Reggie Miller in Game 2 of the ECF.
When I saw Larry Brown jump up in the air once we clinched the East last year. That was about as much emotion(happy) I've seen from LB ever! It was real nice to see. I still smile today when I think about it.
When we clinched the NBA title in 2004!
Lone Wolf - May 18, 2005 10:52 PM (GMT)
KG was covered well, turned 180 degrees, looked at the Kings shot clock, turned another 180 degrees, and made the fade-away (very quickly). It was like 2 seconds.
HFC6 - May 18, 2005 11:36 PM (GMT)
-Anthony Carter layup that bounced off the top of the backboard to beat the Knicks.
-Zo slamming down LJ at the free throw line, and JVG's wig falling off.
I'm surprised no one's mentioned that Larry Johnson 4-point play to beat the Pacers.
AIfan1330 - May 18, 2005 11:39 PM (GMT)
2003 playoffs, time winding down, marbury runs down the court and takes a running 3-pointer at the buzzer, bank, win. We took the eventual champs to 6 games that year...
detroit223 - May 19, 2005 12:01 AM (GMT)
^^OMG that reminds me:
Chauncey's halfcourt bank shot to send Game 5 against the NewJersey Nets into overtime which ended up being a triple ot classic! Man, I was jumping up and down for that one.
Lone Wolf - May 19, 2005 12:29 AM (GMT)
PRINCES BLOCK AGAINST MILLER!

ballorama. - May 20, 2005 02:00 AM (GMT)
yeah i did.
oh the one with Billups' halfcourt shot was awosdome that game was a thriller.
Sealy - May 20, 2005 02:06 AM (GMT)
I didn't get to see it. -_-
I was at the Wolves playoff game. :D :P
ballorama. - May 20, 2005 02:14 AM (GMT)
oh for which one the Detroit one or the Spurs lakers one
Sealy - May 20, 2005 02:16 AM (GMT)
The triple overtime Nets-Pistons game where Chauncey hit that halfcourt shot.
ballorama. - May 20, 2005 02:19 AM (GMT)
oh gotchya, well that series was an updown series the Nets stunk in the 1st game, Pistons got the 2nd, Nets took the next three including the thriller in OT, Game 6 and 7 pistons dominated
detroit223 - May 20, 2005 06:19 PM (GMT)
Another one of my favorite playoff moments. I got alot of respect for Reggie Miller but:
79-84 Detroit with under a minute left and reggie Miller goes for 3 (again) and it's blocked by Big Ben Wallace! That happened yesteday in Game 6, that pretty much sealed the victory because Sheed got the board and gave to Chauncey who got fouled and knocked down his ft. What a beautiful play. It's sad that two of the biggest defensive plays between these teams had to be on Reggie(game 2 last year, Tayshaun and game 6 this year, Ben)
