An EPSN SportsNation poll reveals that fans think the best swingmen in the NBA from 1-9 are:

1. Dwayne Wade
2. Lebron James
3. Tracy McGrady
4. Kobe Bryant
5. Ray Allen
6. Vince Carter
7. Manu Ginobilli
8. Paul Pierce
9. Carmello Anthony

Wow, this is interesting. Wade has been freakin awesome, even Jordanesque, but has he ALREADY surpassed Lebron, T-mac, Kobe, etc?

People seem to look past his high turnover average (most per 48 mins) and in the 6 turnovers per game region in the series vs. Washington.

His stats are great and he led the Heat to 2 big wins against the Wizards, but his stats are not even as good as Kobe Bryant's stats were in the Lakers' 2001 title run.

If you went purely on stats, then you'd have to say it were Lebron or Kobe or T-mac. Wade also has Shaq on his side, which can improve his confidence and stats.

Wade has yet to face a great defensive team in the playoffs (Detroit, San Antonio) so his stats may be inflated.

I've seen some great things from the 2nd year player Wade, but I'm not entirely sold on him. hm?

I have been high on Wade since I saw him play for the Heat. I didn't pay close attention to him at Marquette. Only saw 2 or 3 of his games.

I am picky about Wade's TO average, too. You have to realize that the ball is in his hands more than anyone else on the floor. He drives in hard, and sometimes loses the ball. I agree, though. That may be his weakness.

Kobe's stats in the Lakers 2001 run were with Shaq in his prime, and with Shaq playing. Wade played with an old, injured Shaq for two games. As we have witnessed, Kobe can't lead a team.

I hate hearing the "Wade has Shaq" argument. Without Shaq, in Game 4, Wade scored 42 points. Sure, Shaq helps- but I hate to see that overshadow Wade's abilities.

He can pick apart defenses (Triple-Double vs. Detroit) at will. I will leave it at that.

Wade is one of the few player in the modern era that I like.

I saw Wade quite a bit at Marquette over the years and I grew to love him. I liked him all throughout last year but now everyone is on his bandwagon so I'm going to hop on off.

Bryant, James, and McGrady are all better than Wade right now. And it's not even that close.

D-Wade is a great player but not better than thsoe players. And D-Wade got a triple double against us but he also fouled out with 5 points when we played at Miami. You'll have your good games(especially if you're as good as D-Wade) but you'll have more bad against the D.
