Title: NBA lockout?
Lone Wolf - May 20, 2005 08:23 PM (GMT)
The NBA and NBPA have been talking and there might be a lockout in June 1st. This isn't good at all. They've been talking about contracts (long ones), salary caps, etc.

I'm lost though. The NBA site doesn't say anything about it. Did I mis-hear it?
(Yes this is a few days old)

Why would the NBA site say anything about it? Plus, I doubt there is a lockout. They will play a full season, or close to it. I don't think it will cost the league any games.

I hope not! I don't want to wait too long to catch the Pistons getting their rings..again. :P. But from what I've been hearing things don't look good at all. And I don't know why how long a player can sign with a team is such a big deal. They can resign when the contract is up.

Because SC has been talking about it.

But why would the NBA put something bad about them and scare everyone into thinking there is a lockout on their offical website? That wouldn't be very smart.

Well, maybe people want to know about it if they have reg tv.
