Im just gonna compile a list of Laker trades I have been hearing about, feel free to add to the list or comment on the trades!

Lakers/Indiana:
Lakers trade: George, Slava
Pacers trade: Bender, 17
Clears up space at the SF and gets us another 1st rd pick

Lakers/Hornets
Lakers trade: Butler, Divac (maybe Mihm), Atkins, Jones, 10, 17 (from Indy)
Hornets trade: Magloire, Brown, 4
Hornets save roughly 20M over 2 seasons, while getting Butler and 2 draft picks. Lakers gain some size and move up in the draft.

Lakers/Bobcats
Lakers trade: Butler, 10
Bobcats trade: 5, 13
If the New Orleans trade doesnt go down, this one could. The Lakers lose Butler but gain an extra lottery pick. Bobcats get a solid first or second option to team with Okafor.

Lakers/Raptors
Lakers trade: Ending contracts (i expect something like Atkins, Vlade, Slava/trade exception, 10
Raptors trade: Jalen Rose, 7
Raptors lose Rose's bad attitude, gain some cap releif after next season and still get a lottery pick. Lakers do this to move up a couple spots and add a veteran to the roster. I would expect Rose to play a Ron Harper type role, and while he isnt a perfect fit for this team he would be alright.

Lakers/Blazers
Lakers trade: Ending contract, 10
Blazers trade: Patterson, 3
Blazers do this to get rid of team cancer Patterson. An interesting sitiuation given it was Phil who cut Ruben from the Lakers so many years ago, but still a possibility.

Heres one that makes sense to me, but havnt heard anything about it yet.
Lakers/Warriors
Lakers trade: Vlade (or other ending contract), Jones/Cook
Warriors trade: Derek Fisher
Fisher would get to start again which he has said he wants to do. With GS picking up B Diddy, Fisher really becomes expendable and given his unfavorable contract, an ending contract and a lesser talent like Cook or Jones may be what the Warriors are looking for.

So as you can see the Lakers have been busy making calls, I would expect 1 or 2 of these trades, or close variations of them, done on draft day. Comments?

Any of those deals would be good for the Lakers IMO. It seems like they're really trying to get stuff done...

For as much crap as Kupchak receives, he is actually working very hard to get something done. I wouldn't be surprised if one of these deals goes down very soon.

I've heard a ton of Laker rumors and I'm not even going to comment on them until they are done. Because there are so many that it's just not worth my time. :P

Yeah they're doomed unless they trade Kobe! rley. And then they lose season ticket holders and a lot of money... He is a top 3 player in the game, so it would be ridiculous if they traded him.

The Laker's best option would be to trade Butler and their lottery pick if they want anything good in return. They have some expiring contracts (George, Divac, Atkins, Slava) so they have some stuff to work with.
