The Wizards and Lakers have had discussions regarding a trade involving Kwame Brown for Caron Butler.

The trade would likely be: Kwame Brown and a future pick for Caron Butler and Vlade Divac.

I like this trade, since the Lakers get an inside presence who has potential and a future pick. Not to mention, Vlade will likely be bought out and could come back to the Lakers. The Wizards would get a swingman to replace Larry Hughes. Butler is a rising star.

I'd say it is pretty fair.

I like the trade too, I hope they get a buyout.

I would be excited to see what Kwame could do with a change of scenary and a world class coach. I dont know that he is worth Butler and an expiring, but he does give us size and help rid ourselves of the SF jam.

Many PFs see their best days AFTER leaving washington, including Ben Wallace, Rasheed Wallace, and Chris Webber. I'd love to add Kwame to the list.

Heard that too, also found it interesting that Kwame has a 2 year deal with a team option for a 3rd. Theyre signing everyone to 2 year contracts in order to go after yao, amare, etc...
